Just got it and it's really well made, looks excellent and is a total bargain for the money compared to similar stands. Has three height settings, cabling clip that can be freely repositioned, phone/ tablet shelf and USB/ audio hub built in (cables included!).

Edit: comes assembled, legs can be used for added height, I think it goes from 80 to 120 or 140mm. Highly recommended.

WOW! A stand to place on the table which is a stand already. Now that's a …WOW! A stand to place on the table which is a stand already. Now that's a useless waste of money.

Well the desk should be at the correct height for your hands and the monitor should be at the correct height for your eyes. SO unless you have some sort of bizarre anatomical defect you really should lift the monitor up. Fine if its got a decent stand but many cheaper monitors aren't fully adjustable.

If you don't know anything about ergonomics best to keep quiet.

wont this make the monitor too high
Is it USB 2 or 3?
This form-factor is excellent. Being able to shove the keyboard back, under the monitor, when you want to use the desk space for anything other than PC is great. Also good for putting keyboard out of reach of little fingers.

Not sure of the aesthetic of this one though. Prefer my cheap moulded acrylic model.

    I like it but I still don't think it's worth £22.00.

Have you got a link? I'm after something like this mainly so I can put a laptop under the monitor so it is out of the way.

    buy a higher chair stupid
How tall is the second height setting? My monitor is currently on 20cm of books so I'd need two of these at least.

Plastic sides spoil it for me but heat nonetheless!
I think it looks great. Thanks jaymsn....

Considering the prices of some ugly plastic contraptions, VonHaus stand is a deal. Here's a 40 quid example:

I was fairly restricted by the massively wide keyboard I bought. If I could have found something less tall.

Search for acrylic monitor riser and you may find something more to your liking.

Edit: I did loads of searching actually. I'm trying to remember. Ikea do something in bamboo I think.

Is it USB 2 or 3?

I got this stand last month.

It's usb 2.0. I run my keyboard and mouse through it. Saves me a few usb ports on my computer.

Stand is really good. Raises the monitor up to a better level and creates space underneath. I've got my audio interface and memory cards and flash cards and other accessories underneath that used to be behind.

    likly?

Perhaps if your monitor was at the correct height you'd be able to see what you're typing.

This guy must be trolling. Nobody can be this dumb in real life and still be able to switch on a PC
    SixtyFive17th Nov

    Do you?

Not generally but I also don't go round claiming a table is a stand so doesn't need another stand. By that logic you don't need a chair on a floor so you must be sitting on it. It's crazy talk.
