Perfect for Halloween 🎃
Didn't fancy the knives but some great bargains elsewhere on that site!
Put a few bits in basket but £4.99 for age verified delivery because of knives seemed a bit steep
Is it only with me or website is down because again and again it says that there's something wrong, try again later

Such as?

I'm after some decent knives, are these not very good?

I suggest you look for a good quality knife that will sharpen and retain said edge.
I got a Wusthof Classic Santoku 9 years ago and it’s still going strong
can't checkout, the age verification decided it wouldn't accept my driving licence after i'd put all my details in...i'm not keen on sticking credit card details in as it's hardly the most legit looking verification i've ever seen.
out of stock on nearly everything

Something like a Wusthof is a great knife, but only for those with deep pockets! A compromise between a cheap knife that won't age well and this would be something like a Victorinox knife. I have a minimally maintained set of Victorinox knives purchased 11 years ago that are still razor sharp and were very fairly priced. Would have loved Wusthof or Henckels, but a wee bit out of my price range at the time!

I got that one from last deal, but unsure about it's performance. Should I be gentle and move the knife many times or push harder and pull them few times only?

On a side note, I got a set of 9 Anthony Worroll Thompson knives from Argos 15 years ago for less than £20 and they are still going strong, although they have needed a sharpen every so often.
some bargains on there! good work (never heard of them before)
Only delivery option was 24 hour delivery. Now received an email saying delivery won't be until Thursday!
