I've heard watermelons are the only fruit that doesn't filter out the …I've heard watermelons are the only fruit that doesn't filter out the toxins in the water they take in when growing.That means if it was grown in water full of toxins, then it can passed onto the person who eats it and get ill.Apparently people get ill this way in exotic places when eating watermelon.Thoughts?



You are right bro, they (watermelons) don't have kidneys, therefore all the toxins gets trapped in cell walls... But watermelons grow in soil not water so they should be fine! I think people get ill in exotic countries because all food is fresh and covered with microorganisms while British food is full of preservatives and plastic... Britons are not used to normal food these days, just supermarket and hospital food...

lol... are Greek watermelons tastier than say Spanish melons???
These are miles better than the £2.5/£3 ones, but make sure you have enough people to share as they are quite big.
