Supposedly a great tool to have in the tool bag to help mark where to mount things and drill holes etc. Only wished I had one when putting up the shelf above the TV and side gate as both are un-level as I drilled slightly off because I couldn't see my pen marks clearly (also I have novice DIY skills...)

Tip too wide IMHO, and I would expect this to come out in Poundland in couple months time (too easy to copy)

My thoughts exactly, surely there must be some Bangood, Gearbest copy costing pennies including delivery

The tip is designed to be pressed against the hole, not go into it, because its a spray, not a pen.
As for cheap copies appearing, I'm sure someone as savvy as Deborah Meaden would have ensured it was patented before she put her money into it!

How can this be fully patented to prevent copying, look at the Nutri-bullets, Bagless vacuum cleaners, pod coffee machines, I could list another 20 things that are much more complicated than this and have been copied and re-badged? This is just a mini aerosol with a upright nozzle.

In fact who ever does copy it should just call it MarkMan it'll have a better name and probably sell more as it won't have the ridiculous price

It's for marking through thicker items, where a pen or pencil can't reach.

I think these are a great idea but just far too expensive for the job they do like a lot of things on DD.

So much for humble opinions... it is not necessary to poke the device through the hole. Instead, you press the tip against the hole opening and it blows green chalk powder through to the mounting surface behind. In my experience it has a "reach" of about 5cm. It is a very handy piece of kit, especially if trying to mark on a rough surface. I bought one about 18 months ago and have used it often. Worth every penny at full price so this is hot.
