Just back from B&M in Stevenage where they had a a shelf full of these. Great if you like a bit of real ale and price compares favourably with the £15.85 that Asda charge for the Old Speckled Hen keg.
Open before October 2015 but use within three days of opening - that's my weekend sorted!
5 litres is just under 9 pints and it's 3.6% ABV,

It's not bad, but Asda still have the 4 for £5 on 500ml bottles atm and that's a much better deal IMO.
Anyone know where I can get the 5lt Heineken draught kegs. Heat added it's a fair price

I agree, better deals on single bottles for £1.25 and under. Better beers also and you can mix and match.
Novelty value for a bbq I suppose?
    Heat added.
this is the real cask ale version as you would get on a handpull in the pub, not the inferior keg bottled version. hot.

This is a different product. As pts1971 said it's equivalent to a cask ale whilst the bottled version, although quite nice, definitely is not.

Anyway, this works out at £1 for 500ml. How can your £1.25 be a better deal anyway?

I did say IMO. Because they are better beers.

Ah, with you now. Yes, fair comment if you prefer the bottled ones.

I go for Old Crafty Hen when Tesco have it on 4 for £5. It's like beer mixed with medicinal alcohol
