Do these pans have that black coating as someone on here said they are dangerous?

Green pan shouldn't have. Love these.

Greenpan are the non teflon so not the nasty stuff. I use them but to be honest they do lose their non-stickyness after a while. I think i paid more than £28 for this pan a while back so good deal

In my experience Greenpan are terrible; you get non-stick for a few weeks, then they become super-stick.

Can it be used on induction hobs ?

Please don't waste your money, they are not non stick!

How do these compare with tefal?

The op stated not.

why are these handwash only?

why are these handwash only?

Because they are not dishwasher safe? (_;)

Look out for these at Home and Bargain stores too. For the last year or so they've had a lot of this range in stock at hugely reduced prices. I got some for people last Xmas i think. But some store might still have them in (Stroud did a few weeks ago)

EDIT: Home Bargains might have had the Bali range not the Lima ones, by the looks of it

No. That would be Teflon coating. These are ceramic coated, which is much safer.

Up to a point I would agree, it's not as good as Teflon.

I bought one of these from Argos. After 2 weeks, the coating went. I complained to the company, and got a new one for free. Two weeks later, same thing. I hope one day to find a decent frying, that's not dangerous.
