Product Description

Grey Goose is a premium vodka, born from an extraordinary passion for spirit-making. It is created using only the fine French ingredients - the high-grade wheat and pristine limestone-filtered spring water. It is a spirit of uncommon brilliance, unrivaled craftsmanship and signature smoothness and is an excellent choice as a gift.

  • Grey Goose premium vodka is created using only the finest French ingredients
  • Grey Goose Vodka’s two single-origin ingredients are winter wheat from Picardie and spring water from Gensac-la-Pallue.
  • The soft winter wheat used in Grey Goose Vodka is the same high quality wheat used in famous French breads and pastries.
  • The water used in Grey Goose is naturally filtered through underground limestone so deep it's untouched by pollutants.
  • The two ingredients of Grey Goose Vodka are traceable from field to bottle.
  • The Grey Goose Cellar Master François Thibault oversees the production process to create a vodka unlike any other.
  • Alcohol Content 40 % Vol

Lidl own brand at £14 a 70cl is from the same place and has the same content.... I want someone who buys this and doesn't believe me, to try both.
At Tesco...
£16.66 per bottle if you add 3 to basket and add code : XXHTFL, £25 off a £70 spend new*customers only... manage to order it twice ...as a new customer...:)
Oh and £6 quidco/tcb, so possible £14.66 per bottle

Didn't research find that around 19 out of 20 of the supposed 'deals' on Black Friday had been cheaper at some point during the previous few months...

Totally agree this, Why paying just for the brand name. Had few bottles from lidl in the past. Might stock up for Christmas party again.
radzy09/12/2019 22:15

Christmas cocktails sorted then

Merry Christmas radzy
Good price for the Goose.

Worth trying out Kirkland Signature (French - not the American variety) 1.75L if you can get to Costco. £39.99 but sometimes further reduced in stores.39308572-e718x.jpg

Thing is Russian standard, even Gold Russian standard gives me a cracking hangover but neither chase or Grey Goose do.

Came from someone I know who knows someone that works with Grey Goose... Don't think they'd lie and once I was told, I tried the Lidl stuff and not bought Grey Goose since.

They also said that he was not sure about the Aldi version but knows for 100% the Lidl version is the same.
I’ve done a blind test of both and preferred Grey Goose.

rather than going through all that hassle for less than 4%, 99p, any regular fermented potatoes should suffice
Tired this vodka, never went back . It’s so much better than any other and so smooth. Always buy it when it drops to this price

Entirely plausable; vodka was originally brewed to have no taste. Its the drinks world best marketing trick to sell premium vodka. Each to their own.

Thanks for the tip.
The Aldi Premium one (with a bottle design very similar to Grey Goose) is £14 and is pretty poor imo.
French vodka?? Meeeh. Go for 🇵🇱 one instead, like belvedere
How's the hangover on the Lidl cheap cr*p though?

Tastes exact same as grey goose, been buying it for about a year now!!
Unless you are drinking this neat out of the freezer I dont think paying for a brand vodka is worthwhile. Lidl as previous posts have suggested is very good and once in the mixer no different except for the price paid. Having visited Bombay Sapphire gin distillery the base alcohol is bought in from anywhere in europe, wherever is the cheapest and flavoured in UK. I know that isnt Vodka but it does show that Brands arnt always what you expect.

Beluga is far superior to Grey Goose as are many others. Grey Goose is a great example of when the marketing team does an exceptional job.

Regardless if folk are drinking it with a mixer, save your money and buy a much cheaper brand. If drinking it straight and this is your maximum price point then fair enough.
If using a mixer you may as well go for a cheaper brand as you really won't notice the difference.
If you're drinking it neat then it's worth paying a little more.

That being said, it's pretty well known that there's actually nothing special about Grey Goose, but teenagers tend to think that, because it's expensive, it's the one to be getting smashed on.

I haven’t tried that one so can’t say, but I tried Grey Goose along with 6 or 7 other vodkas in the £50 or under price range and it was miles ahead of all the others. So regardless of their marketing, I’m going by tasting alone
Fab deal thanks

What a load of rubbish. Made in the same place? ! BS. Lidl vodka is good for the price but GreyGoose is a different level and definitely NOT made in the same place.
