Lovely Chrimbo gift for iRelatives/iFriends

*according to spec from Amazon, seems to be a newer model than previously advertised versions - 9696-AIRCRVC as opposed to 6261-AIRCRVC

Hmm... I wanted to buy one, but it insists on telling me that delivery is £2.75, even though I select the FREE option.

Has anyone got one of these....are they any good?

I decided to get the identical one for £6.60 (there's no difference in models), at least the postage was free!

For a few bob more, surely the X-mini speaker is a better choice?

This is akin to cupping your hands around the speaker to amplify the sound.

Hadouken!

This is a powered device that needs to be charged up. Not a like-for-like comparison.

Fair enough - I was tempted to purchase one as the Aircurve looks rather stylish - yet the issues around unplugging the chord from the dock and the fact that this is perceived amplification as opposed to a real amplifying device.
