Looks like a bargain to me at just £5.97 delivered!

Imagine hearing your iPhone loud and clear, without using earphones or powered speakers. The Griffin AirCurve turns your iPhone into a no-power-drain alarm clock on your nightstand, or a mini sound system that never needs batteries or adapters. This cleverly designed acoustic amplifier for your iPhone collects the sound from the built-in speaker of your iPhone, amplifies it in coiled waveguide within the base, and projects it into the room. The waveguide has been engineered to deliver amazing amplification - you'll swear there are full-sized speakers in there.

Included pass-through slot allows you to charge and sync your iPhone using your own cable. And AirCurve's see-through translucent polycarbonate body lets you appreciate the graceful curves that do all the work.

- Compatible with iPhone & iPhone 3G/S
- Acoustically amplifies your iPhone
- Custom-engineered waveguide requires no power
- Allows syncing/charging using your dock cable

I have this as my side table dock which amplifys my alarm a little bit and allows me to use night stand to have the time on...

Its definitely worth £5 but not much more. Think I paid about a tenner, 6 months ago..

Yea I'd say it's definitely worth the £5 , I have one in the bathroom an use it while I shower

I've got one, think I paid £8 from a certain well known auction site over a year ago and they were a tenner in the shops.
This is a fair price for it. It is really just two bits of plastic bolted together but it's quite good quality materials. Does make a slight difference and would be ok for camping, etc. where no electricity for a real dock.

Price no doubt coming down due to the cradle only fitting the older iPhones - not the 4G. No idea if it will fit an iPod touch (don't even know if iPod has a speaker at the bottom tbh!)
