You can actually I prefer gas but you shouldn’t have problems it may well take longer to heat up but hey Ho I wouldn’t let it put me off.

I didn't find one in any of the 6 different stores I tried, seems they might not have been delivered anywhere.

Not all Lidl have the same loadout on themed weeks, and middle isle. Urban not great for garden stuff.

I bought the rectangle one about 3y ago and used multiple times: on gas hob, bbq, fire pit. Wort every penny. I’ve used it on the top of disposable bbq to stop food burning and it works. Quite heave to take it with you to the picnics though

Managed to get the last one at Aldi (Kirkton brand) for £9.99. Basically looks like a Le Creuset knock off at a tenth of the price.
