Damn just paid 4 quid Off ebay

Good find. have some heat

bought one on Saturday really good for price

If the same as the JML one its excellent, I have had the JML one for over a year and its the best in car holder and by far the most versatile.

Careful with these, you nearly snap your phone getting it off.

They are super sticky, you would have an easier time getting it off if it was stuck using super glue.

I bought one of these on Saturday and yes they are very sticky but I found slowly peeling the phone off the unit (took me a few seconds only) worked without damaging the back of the phone.

I just have one question, how can I securely fix the unit to the disk that fixes on to the car dashboard? I found that the 2 pieces were only staying together for a minute or so, I was going to resort to Velcro strips to keep the 2 bits in place when out driving.

My JML one has the same issue. Holds onto the phone just fine, but not the dash or the windscreen. Pile of kack.

You only need the disk for surfaces that aren't smooth. For a windscreen, just use the suction cup directly onto the screen, and press the suction latch.

I bought 2, and they're great. The stickiness calms down after a while. The trick to put the phone on is to push down onto the holder to maintain a good grip. To release twist sideways (do it gently for the first few uses until the stickiness calms down otherwise it has the tendency to pull the back off your phone).

Top tip:
These are ultra sticky out of the box - dab it on your clothes or car seat a few times and this lessens the aggressiveness of the stickiness but leaves plenty for holding phone.

Great piece of kit - neat and effective

The best phone holder I've owned! The green sticky on these is surprisingly good..

Hot!!

Great price but worth pointing out that if you have a phone case that's textured or dimpled at all to provide grip then this won't work. We had one but ended up binning it as it just would not work on our phone's as our cases (Casemate Tuff case) are slightly textured on the back and it needs a smooth surface in order to grip. If you took the case off then it was brilliant and stuck like a limpet but as it's a bit of a pain taking the case off and on each time it was no good for us.

excellent product got mine last year for summer holiday camping trip.

I have a phone case protector which has dimples on it and mine has no problems gripping on to the phone

Pretty happy with mine. Take your phone protective case off before using and it's not as sticky. It took me ages to get my phone off it with the case still on. The only issue is that the sticky pad is not holding on the windscreen so well.

Ha yeah the first time I put my HTC ONE X nice snooth back on to this after an hours drive I got home and i swear the damn thing wasn't coming off! The super sticky pad that holds the phone is amazing - however on first use getting your phone off it needs strength of 10 men! (plus as mentioned bending and snapping of your phone is optional)

Well happy with mine. For a quid can't go wrong. Had it a few months now and had no problems with it at all. Lost it's stickiness after a while and in extreme cold weather you need to press phone onto a little bit harder. As it states in the instructions I just washed it with soapy water and like magic sticks like glue again. I just peel my phone off it carefully holding the side plastic lugs. Bargain!!!!

I've found the phone holder from lidl that was recently on sale to be excellent. Rock solid arm, no wobble on the dashcam video etc. It was £6.99 so more expensive but I tried the AA version of these sticky pad holders and really didn't get on with it.

This is right, mine says this on the box. Good tip

Also one for £1.79 in home bargains

I prefer the magnetic vent holders. Keeps phone cool with the air blowing out vent as phone overheats so easily with sat navigation goung. I guess some folks don't like sticking a plate to back of phone although my samsung will take it within back cover out of sight. These are the next best thing so good find. Heat added

i brought this for £10 in morrisons 2 days a go!!

Mine works fine, if you press your phone on with pressure it will really stick, I found that placing it on without force works fine and easy to remove. I like that it's not a holder that messes with the side buttons! You can also turn it sideways and place half the phone on the sticky pad to make it easier to remove.

I bought one the other day. The suction cup on these are terrible.

Cracking deal - never heard of poundworld, we only have poundland and the 99p stores around here

Chances are it came from the Poundshop, I see people all the time on ebay asking silly prices for items that were a £1 and they are charging something like £5 plus delivery , I guess theres always someone with plenty of money to waste.
