Fitted in seconds and holds the phone like a rock. Needed two hands to pull the phone off the holder tho (one hand on phone and other holding the holder) as the gel is super super sticky :-)

How long will the stickiness last is the question???

Original Poster

So true, It does say that if the stickiness goes or gets dirty then rinsing under water will clean and renew the stickiness (like new).

I've just return a GripGo to the shop as it didn't grip my iPhone with a slightly dimpled case, I expect they are ok directly on the back of the phones smooth surface, but useless if you have yours in a phone case, just something to keep in mind if you pan to buy one.

My case works fine with the sticky pad but then again it's a flat case with no dimples ;-)

Thanks! Will have a look for one

It was very good until My sticky pad melted this summer it only lasted 2 months.

Sticky does not last more than a few months .. also pulls rear protectors off phones like the iphone as its super sticky when new.

These are amazing. Tried to get mine off and the window came away with it!

Lol!

It does come with a plastic support so it can be suctioned onto the dash instead of glass.

you wash it clean and the sticky comes back. dont leave it in direct sunlight on a hot day though... my first ones green sticky stuff melted and went like glue

CAUTION - This device can cause serious damage to your phone as this gadget loses adhesion after just a few uses. Manufacturer recommends regular cleaning of pad but this does not solve problem. I had one and phone was always falling off - just lucky it didn't get seriously damaged.

Just can't understand why you would use a cheap £1 sticky back phone holder for a £500 phone

I can stick a picture of a fruit on it and sell it for a lot more than it's worth if that's the club you're in.

For the same reason that you would use a £1 condom on a £500 a night hooker .... Because it does the job (_;)

and they give the condom's for free

I've tried this micro adhesive pad things before, they work to a degree.

But I put my phone on it's holder every day, multiple times a day. After trying many different holders nothing seems to work as fluid as a Tetrax Magnetic holder.

So insanely simple and has never fallen off, I only drive a Mazda 2 1.5 sport but I'm a bit harsh at corners at times and the things never fallen off. Even when I bounced around a round about on 2 wheels last year (damned wet weather/rain, still I did learn a lesson I guess).

voted hot as £1 is nice for this, however get: halfords.com/sat…der tbh.

Not quite in the same price range though... But yeah I have a tetrax x fix as well... And its amazing. The nipple required me to drill a hole in my case though so I could fix it direct to the phone, as otherwise it means you cant use phone on a flat surface as it is uneven.

Rofl!

I loved my grip & go. The problem I had was after pulling your phone off the great sticky surface for a month of heavy use, the Green sticky part comes away from the plastic. I have stuck it back on, but now it always falls off when holding the phone. Going to return and look for an alternative option.

Sorry for double post but also if you have LG G2 or G3 don't bother. I had to position my phone carefully as it was starting to pull the button panel off the back of the phone

Can I have her number?:p

picked up one of these today - seems really good. It looks identical to the grip-go one, surely it is the same thing in a different box?
