The Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind

It's never easy to get little ones to sleep if there's light streaming through the window. It may simply be the summer months, or you may be on holiday – either way, the Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind provides a simple way to create a dark sleep environment can work wonders.

Simple functionality

The Gro Anywhere Blind makes it easy – with a simple suction cup system, the blind attaches to just about any window from 130 x 198 cm down to about one-third of that size, shutting out the light completely thanks to flaps that reach right to the edge of the window.

Travel or at home

Many people take a Gro Anywhere blind on holiday but many more simply use them at home. When the clocks change or simply in the brighter summer months it will create a dark, sleepy environment that is just perfect for getting little people to sleep at the right time.

The Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind weighs only 740 grams, so it won't use up your luggage allowance, and it packs away into a handy travel bag making it easy to take with you on holiday.

Adjustable

The blind fits almost any window, tall and thin or short and wide, from 198 x 130 cm down to approximately one-third of that size.

Been looking at these but they look more for travel and some of the reviews aren't great.

These ones might be better for a more permanent solution? amazon.co.uk/dp/…E3E

Thanks OP, needed one of these heat!

those blinds looks really good for a 'permanent' type setting
would say gro-anywheres are definitely travel as they are awkward and the suckers dont stick that well and ofc have to fit assorted sizes of windows so fit is questionable.

A must have if you work night shifts!

Is it me or did anyone else think that because of the name of the company this was a tool to enable people to safely cultivate weed in ones home away from the prying eyes of the 5 0?

This product is black cloth with suction cups, sold at £15. I'm no disputing this is a deal but surely you could easily make this for far less!!

That video on the Amazon website made me laugh.

"Oh it's too bright! Use the blackout blind honey." He only covers one of the two floor to ceiling windows.
"Wow it's so dark!" Turns on the lamp directly above babies head, located next to the daylight bright window.

Great stuff I bought one two weeks ago for about 25 quid. Great price. Apologies I tried to click HOT on my phone but it decided I clicked COLD.

These are pretty good, although sometimes the placement of the suction cups isn't convenient - how ever if you are travelling (caravan, hotels, friends houses) and you have instant "just add sunlight" kids, then they are a must.

I have a couple we used at home over the last couple of year, as we only need them during the summer for my daughters bedroom - and I do find that the cups have started to flatten out and don't stick as well. However, having tried bits of black of material as a DIY solution, these are much better.

I just watched the video myself, made me laugh too. X)

Top tip for travelling with kids, take some insulation tape with you, and buy some tin foil from the local shop once you arrive at your destination. Use that to cover the window, does a great job and doesn't take up much room.

And one top tip from me - you can use leftover insulation tape to keep your children quiet while enjoying that bottle of wine on holiday you've been planning together for entire year.

You're welcome.

These blinds are fantastic. Normal blackouts lets the light in around the window but put one of these boys up and it looks like the middle of the night in the room, even in the midday sun!
