Hot - we have these for when we go camping to try to block out some of the light in the kids sleeping area and it seems to help.

very envious as £17 in our store

good find op, heat added

Great deal on a fab product

Helps me sleep after night shift. Good design, as long as you keep your window clean, it will stay on

Store specific as its a manually reduced item

Fantastic find!!

No idea what this is

Got one for a caravan holiday to try and get the daughter to stay in bed longer. It's now a permanent fixture on her bedroom window at home too. Great for making a bedroom darker in the summer months.

This is not reduce to clear ! It's got reduced label specific for store. Any other store got this item for £17.50 now in the offer

It's like a portable blackout blind that sticks on with suckers. I found it very useful when I was on night-shift last Summer.

Careful - it's banned in France.

Don't give up the day job

Shame all the tescos close to me have it at the usual price. Good for those who can get it at the cheaper price - thanks OP

Excellent for anyone who needs exactly 12 hours of darkness a day.

is this Springhill B'ham or N.Ireland?

Are you some kind of sorcerer?

I find half a bottle of any spirit or a bottle of wine has the same effect and no need to stick anything to the window

Used one of these for a few hours on a sunny English morning... until it cracked the inner pane of one of the windows. Can only assume it was the heat.

It could have been a flaw in the glass, worth a warning though.

Cold! Everyday, at my local Tesco, items are marked at up to 90% off. I don't go around posting them on here as they are store specific. Posting such deals is wasting people's time.

Every day i get emails with sales and discounts yet they are on here... basically hukd takes a cut of everything due to people sticking it on their site, wonder how much they make

Whoosh!

Got a pork pie for 96p last week In The reduced fridge, should have posted the deal just for the heat but it tasted better cold.

Think the op is pointing out that their local store has these reduced so for anyone else that shares the same local store can benefit from this deal. Heat from me

How does this work? Does this stick on windows?

So only one person bought it in whole UK in this price hahahaha !

But you waste your time telling people you're not wasting your time.

Likely it's been reduced due to damage or missing parts, or it's a label from different product

It's a discontinued item in Springhill store with only that 1 in stock. I checked my local Yardley Solihull stores and it's not coming up as discontinued but £17.50 with 14 in stock in Yardley and 13 in Solihull store.

If anyone needs the stock code it's 052868702 but I suspect it may only be available in smaller tesco stores that are not going to continue to stock the item hence marked down manually...

This is exactly why these 'waste of time store specific' deals are worth posting - some people somewhere else will also find this at the reduced price, but not everyone posts their results here.
I have gone to B&M and other stores looking for deals from here, but my local stores didn't have the item at the cheap price - presumably many stores act like my local coop, and are grouped in categories nationally, so that depending on what category/ size the store is, as to what items are reduced - why get annoyed and expect every store in the country to have exactly the same prices and deals, when it takes the fun out of finding a bargain ?

This is a great price but it appears that it is purely isolated to that one branch of Tesco. There are so many of these deals, but as its not available to others so perhaps it's a bit misleading in terms of heat generated.
HUKD should perhaps look at a way of highlighting availability as a factor for heat...

Hottest Deal of the Day goes to - a store specific yellow sticker reduction! Pure Genius!

If only there was an interconnected web of networks retaining the vast majority of humankind's knowledge that you could search from a convenient portal in your home, office or even on the move to answer such fundamental questions of the human condition.

We can only hope that future generations one day can benefit from such a utopian ideal.

I have to ask what type of tent you have....

I bought one a few years ago and took back after a couple of days as it was a right faff and would just fall down in the night onto the cot, waking the baby up. I wouldn't bother in all honesty.

Cheap alternative to black out blinds i had mine up for almost a year when i was on permanent nights. For portable use i wouldn't recommend as on mine the suction cups wore out pretty fast when i started removing and reattaching for two week night shifts.
Also it worked better on a large window where all cups were used and the fabric isnt bunched up with the velcro, which you need to do to make it fit for smaller windows (makes it heavier i guess as it kept falling off of a small window)

We have used it in our old small HiGear tent, our 4 man inflatable Berghaus and also our large Outwell Montana 6P tent that we use for a week or more.

Normally put 2 of these blackout curtains down the side and back if the sleeping area (attach with safety pins) and then put a towel on the front of the sleeping area when they go to sleep.

It seems to do the job and stop them waking up at 5am when the sun comes up.
