Good deal, I was considering this but quite a few negative reviews.

thanks, ordered for our holiday in June at Center Parcs. We might get the occassional quiet night or morning.

I found it useless, wrong window fixture I guess (flush to wall/no recess). Suction cups seemed barely capable of holding the weight of the thing.

Centre Parcs actually has quite thick curtains so you may not need it there. This was good for staying elsewhere though where curtains are thin. May need to moisten suction cups to get them to stick well but other than that have had no problems with ours.

not seen it this cheap for a while.. I bought one, its ideal for my window.. heat added

Wasn't this featured on Dragons Den?

These a great, the little monkey sleeps great with these.

I have one of these. Worked fine about the first 10 times I used but it won't stick to any windows anymore. The suction cups are rubbish. The material does block out the light though. Im reduced to pinning it up wth drawing pins now.

this seems to be a solution for a problem that doesnt exist.
Plus it's been much cheaper before.

Yes, over a year ago????? The people that need this probably didnt even have children then - lol

Good price, good product. The suctions aren't the best, but I always end up shutting it in a window or something which doesn't bother my kids, but I suppose it depends on what requirements you have.

from reviews, i decided to choose something else:

not exactly portable it's single use as you have to cut it to size and if intended as a permanant fixture just buy a real one surely

It may not be a problem for you but that doesn't mean its not a problem for someone else. Bit of a selfish comment. and Just because it's been cheaper before doesn't mean its still not a good deal and the best deal around at the moment.

Yep. I've got it on CamelCamelCamel tracking too. It's been a lower price than this a few times.

Product wasn't what I was expecting. Does a job though I suppose.

They are talking about the link in the quote which is a totally different product not the product this thread is originally talking about.
You don't have to cut the Gro Anywhere Blind at all.

You're reading the description for the Gro blind, the product that was bought by mattyoakley needs to be cut to size. "Easy assembly, simply cut material to size, apply self-adhesive velcro to window, and hang blackout!"

Just buy some mylar. It's cheap as chips and does the same job.
You just have to find a way to attach it to the window. I find duct tape works wonders!

It may be cheaper to just duck tape your eyes...

Just clicked on and it's actually £15.99 delivered.

According to Mumsnet that's not the only plug she'll be getting.

Bought this at full price as it had good reviews! After a while the suction cups stop sticking! At this price would I buy again... Probably NO

Sounds like it is for cannabis cultivation. (Strange name otherwise).

You need to moisten the suction cups with a dab of water each time and it stays put all night. I put it up and take it down once a day and it has been fine

bought this and got £2 worth of mp3s to spend at amazon too
