Too small to be a tub

Low calorie versions of any food tastes terrible!!

Not good. Wont waste £2 on these again

jnigel26

Made by R&R Ice Cream UK Ltd, who make other ice creams (Cadbury's Crunchie Ice Cream in the tubs as just one example). I think Cadbury (or rather Mondelez International who own Cadbury) also own Toblerone, so little wonder nothing tastes like it used to. All full of 'skimmed' milk - why? How about using concentrated 'real full milk and fewer 'additives and flavourings'. Here's what's in your so-called Toblerone ice cream! Concentrated Skimmed Milk, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Partially Reconstituted Whey Concentrate (from Milk), Coconut Oil, Glucose Syrup, Honey 4%, Ground Almonds, Butter Fat (from Milk), Milk Chocolate with Honey and Almond Nougat pieces (Sugar, Whole Milk Powder, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Honey 3%, Milk Fat, Almonds 1.6%, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithins), Egg White, Flavourings), Dried Whey (from Milk), Cocoa Mass, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder 2%, Dried Skimmed Milk, Chopped Almonds, Lactose (Milk), Emulsifiers (E471, Soya Lecithin, E476), Stabilisers (E410, E412), Egg White, Flavourings. To be fair, most ice creams are the same today with ingredients. Just don't eat too many of 'em. I, like anyone, loves an ice cream, but compared to those of yesteryear, today's are shite in comparison. As you only get 3 for your 2 quid, I'll be buying a pack of 4 Magnums, or 4 Snickers ice cream (or others) for my 2 quid.

andrewworrall1

I don't eat the whole tub at once and I've left it out for half an hour once, on a hot day and it hasn't been easy to scoop still - hot water helps best honestly

jamie15

You can just leave it out for 5-10 minutes before eating it.

andrewworrall1

Cold (ice cream), just the way it should be. Heat 🔥 added for this deal, hopefully my 🔥 doesn't melt the ice cream. ;) I do like Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough. It doesn't scoop easily but I have found that it's a bit easier to scoop if you put a tablespoon of hot water in first. ;)

I personally say it's about choice, if everyone stopped buying them then sure it's not viable to sell them. You could say even free range is bad, breeding chickens for the sake of their eggs. You could say meat is bad causing a huge amount of pollution breeding animals for the sake of food when we could feed more people with veg. To top it off chickens are apparently happy in cages, Google it.

I have kept it simple at the moment chicken, tuna, fish but not in crumb or batter, vegetables or salads, stir fries,no cereal, wheat or oats,Greek natural yoghurt for breakfast with berries,no ready meals, rice or pasta, substituted rice for cauli rice when making a curry. That's just what suits me though and it's not for everyone but I enjoy the food and I don't feel hungry. I do sometimes have burgers but without buns and sausages but that's because I still have them in my freezer, having looked closer and reading about food,I will be very likely to stop eating any processed meat like that or perhaps just as an occasional treat as Tescos pork and bramley apple sausages are a little difficult to resist

This link may help. Basically non-bio doesn't contain enzyme hence less chance of irritating the skin. But bio cleans better.

Well it doesn't seem to let you online. You can only buy two. Instore.. Maybe because you know you can't fit two in your freezer? Or you're using it as a frisbee and a second one would be wasted?

soldierboy001

So who in their right mind is going to just buy one?

Sarah7

JamesSmith that's right, it's the same as a buy-one-get-one-free deal really. https://www.iceland.co.uk/p/goodfellas-stone-baked-thin-pepperoni-340g/51106.html

JamesSmith

If I understand Sarah7 correctly, those are the current price. Buy one for £2, or buy two for £2. Which is 22 pence more, than buying two for 89p each. Dunno!

soldierboy001

Please explain £2 each or 2 for £2????????????????????????????????

What even the orane one did they mess it up ?

banjomike

Amen. With all the different varieties of Lucozade I'm surprised they didn't keep one of them full-fat like Coke did. I cannot drink the stuff anymore...

Lebourbier

Takes awful since they took the sugar out.
