Flubit will probably take off another £20 to £24 and it will probably be dispatched direct from Amazon

Thanks, have tried. Hopefully you are right.

I normally keep on trying until I get something close to 15% @ Flubit.

However, just tested it on Flubit and the instant offer is from merchant " Level 99 Games (1)" I've ordered from Level 99 Games before on ebay and they sell computer games, and definitely not Grohe!

There's probably a problem on Flubits system so may be better to order from Amazon Direct.

Always check in amazon.de site for the Grohe products. I bought all my grohe in the German site and saved a fortune. They were all shipped locally from UK too.

flubit offered me £4.99 discount from unknown Level99 games -was worth a go but will stick with Amazon

Grohe make great stuff. Replaced all our taps and fittings with them from Amazon.de. Normally much cheaper there.

seems a good price but that rrp is crazy considering it's been consistently lower than 300 since day one according to your camel chart.

Other places are selling this at over £300 and the reviews are excellent. I've ordered and voted hot. Thanks

Thanks OP, just bought for a house refurb

Made in Germany or China? I'm assuming it's one of the two...

Serious question, as I'm in the market for a new shower but to me a tap's a tap... it seems like a good price, but there's a few of the same type in 'also look at' for around £80 -£120 that look fairly good too. Grohe are presumably a good make, but what's the differentiator? Thanks.

Worth every penny and a brilliant deal indeed. With Grohe, you're paying for quality and peace of mind.

It's normal price

No it isn't.

Can anyone recommend another Grohe thermostatic mixer shower (deal) without the fixed head 'rainfall' part and just the removable handset part? Thanks in advance.

Perfect for our new ensuite! Ordered. Thanks OP

Ok for power showers?

0.5inch inlet connection seems really small.... oO

Just measured mine which i thought was standard and they are 1inch

Not really sure why this would be any better than one costing less than 25% of this price

This looks reasonable although I can't think why you wouldn't want the drencher option.

Hi Tyler, thanks for the link. Regarding the drencher option - as I'm having the shower fitted over bath option as opposed to shower enclosure, the guy that's fitting it said I might get a lot of splashback over the shower door which isn't full length. It'll be one of those curved ones. Or I definitely would have.

I think he's talking nonsense. Whatever shower you fit you are going to want to have it above your head. The drencher fires straight down and would probably give less splashback than anything attached to the wall and firing sideways.

Combination of Germany and Thailand from my experience.

Its also seems to have a tiny rainfall head, and I'm not a fan of their hoses (too stiff).

Assuming You didn't buy one then lol
the fixed head looks small but it also looks as though it fires at a slight angle towards the edge instead of 100% straight down.

I got the Grohe 2000 mixer and it's really quite brilliant. Just a bit pricey unfortunately.

Thank-you and looks a nice piece of kit from a very reputable company

Fitted mine yesterday and it's very nice. Quality product at a reasonable price. Thanks OP.

easy enough if you have 15mm inlets. Just cut off the HW & CW supply, remove and replace. 5 minute job.

I would love to buy this but my inlets are 22mm and there arent any adaptors made to get to 15mm unfortunately.

Thanks OP. We needed a replacement shower and this one looks good so just ordered and look to be 12 left if anyone is thinking about it. Cheers

Anyone got this?
Is the top head tiltable vertically?

Thanks

Looking at documentation, top head tilts 30 degrees total (15 degrees each way)

This is on lightning deals right now for £129.99. Might be possible to get a partial refund for those that purchased recently at the higher price.

A follow on from this. Amazon.de has great prices on a lot of Grohe equipment such as this (27296001 shower unit currently €266, as against £258 on amazon.co.uk). Does anyone know whether any modifications are required to German sourced equipment ? I bought a very expensive Grohe shower head 10 years or so ago from a German source and made an enormous saving, and I remember something about a restrictor inside the shower head having to be removed (possibly because German plumbing runs directly off the mains ??).

I bought three of these for a house refurb, one isn't needed now, if anyone wants one at this price let me know, nice piece of kit, still unopened in it's box?
