Grohe is committed daily to preserving and safeguarding the environment by developing technologies made in Germany. Thanks to the great technology and engineering of its production processes, Grohe has set quality standards for mixing drinking water with low lead brass alloys capable of withstanding scratches and limestone stains over time. The punctual control of all internal components and sample testing on finished products ensure long-term reliability as it was always the first day of use.

Note this is not thermostatic which IMHO is a pretty important feature. Also I think it is v unlikely to have been made in Germany despite the 'German engineering' bit. Still good value for what it is, though.
