I bough this very model for around £100 last year. The shower head is totally rubbish but the mixer is quite solid.

Thanks, ordered. I need a new one because my current one is leaking water at the top. Haven’t had much luck with the shower mixers we’ve had (although they’re way better than my old electric.)
Not thermostatic so not suitable for combi boiler...

Why is that?
Risk of scolding yourself whereas a thermostatic mixer tries to maintain selected temperature...
I was waiting for a deal on a shower mixer for a while

Not true, you just have to run the hot water for a few seconds until the combi boiler kicks in then adjust the temp with the cold tap. Thermostatic would be better but costs multiple times this.

You are going to give yourself legionella..... Min water temp should be 60 even for a combi, it is heated on demand but the bacteria can still occur in dead legs and pipework if the output temp is not sufficent.

I've had it for 4 years and survived so far so. In combi water is instantly heated and doesn't hang around so I would have thought it was more of problem for hot water tank but will do some research.

The two most prominent places for legionella are storage tanks and condensing towers (not used at home). It can still occur in hot water pipes with low flow (rarely used) or in "dead legs" - that is to say cut off and capped old pipes, where the water eddy's around. Best to keep it at a min of 60C to be safe. If you are worried about scalding (young kids / elderly) then you can always ask a plumber to fitting a anti scald blending valve under your basin, they cost about £100 fitted.

No longer available I'm afraid
I ordered for delivery, had a text with this message this morning...

"Unfortunately there has been a system error which may potentially delay your B&Q order. We aim to resolve shortly and will keep you updated"

Anybody else get this? Worried I'm not going to get it now...

Yeah, got the same, called them and they said there was an IT problem and they would get back to me, but haven't so far. Was going to cancel the order and try again, but unfortunately out of stock now.

I received a voicemail just now saying they can't fulfill the order as some supply issue causing the cancellation of the order. I ordered a few days ago before this post was published. Anyone else had this?
No update or no confirmation absolute rubbish service
same thing, no updates yet
Went to B&Q to see if it had turned up yet and it hadn’t, they said if it was in stock online it would have definitely arrived by now so they said they probably didn’t have any and issued a refund.
