Grohe Feel Thermostatic Shower

I spoke to Grohe to get a part number replacement control unit (rrp £159.26 12 month warranty) but was told that this complete shower set for only £40 more (5 year warranty) was on offer. It is the Avensys Modern but with a different name due it being sold through DIY channels.

Amazon are selling it for £474.41 so Homebase seems a steal.

How is it working? Does it need to be connected to electric power? Is it suitable for low pressure systems?

No electricity needed. Probably suitable for low pressure systems as states "Delivers 12Ltr/min at 0.1bar"

Also on their ebay site if someone prefers ordering from there, e.g. to use a voucher code on their account:

Is this shower any good? Bought for my new house.
