Speaking as someone who doesn’t have one, I miss not being able to pour away liquids when I’m washing up.. that’s about it
Which costs plz

You could fit a waste disposal to it... or use it for rinsing if you don't have one of those newfangled dishwasher thingies

this sounds more logical, that it is designed for use when the main bowl is full when you wash up. we have a dishwasher so we never do the washing up so guess the 1.5 bowl sink is designed for people who do not have a dishwasher.
I had one and while it is useful for rinsing things, I prefer one larger bowl than a smaller main bowl. Washing up bigger pans and trays is easier with a larger bowl. When I refurbished my kitchen I went with one bigger bowl and don't regret (or miss) the 2 bowl sink I used to have.

Yes, but you can fill the small with water and drop a pack of grape for example.

I have a dishwasher but I don’t like putting certain things in there like glass, plastic (kids stuff) and big pans etc.

i put everything in the dishwasher except the coffee flasks as they are pressurised. glass washes cleaner in the dishwasher than when washed by hand i find. i won't have 1.5 bowl sinks in future as i would prefer a bigger main bowl or more draining space, or just a smaller sink.
Loads in Lakeside. Thanks.

Picked one up today. Thanks OP!
Bought in sunybury, not fitted yet but came with the waste bits. Plenty there
Thanks op. I’ve just managed to get one from the Birmingham store, was the last one on the pallet but didn’t get to see if there were anymore left. So may be worth a call before going.
