Stay away from this brand, very uncompromising after service

I’ve got a number of Grohe products and they are extremely well built so I’ve never needed to use any after service. Happy customer here. Heat added for a nice bit of kit.
This is a really sexy tap. If I saw this in someone’s home, I’d know they are clean people with an eye for a cool straight line and a circular curve. They would gain my immediate respect.

Agreed. My flat still has the original grohe bathroom fittings from 14 years ago. All working fine and never threw any problems!
Grohe are great. Very happy with my shower!
These pull-out taps are great for being able to quickly clean sinks / pans, and fill large containers without having to put them in the sink (e.g watering cans, buckets).

Have a brushed steel Clearwater version of this, and it cost a lot more than this, so good price for Grohe.
Is this instore as well or just online?
I have this exact tap.
Superbly engineered.
Got this had since apr 17.been going strong looks as beautiful as ever.well built.extending hose nice feature too n useful.
Grohe top make top tap 🔥
Is grohe still good after its owned by Japanese company and made in Asia?
Are these easy to fit? Just bought my first house and have never changed a tap before, but willing to try if it's not too complicated.
is the costco membership at £15 worth it just to buy this Tap?

Our barn has Grohe taps and shower mixers and it's coming up for 15 years since we converted it, they are all going strong.

We changed the kitchen tap about 3 months ago to the Minta (we had another Grohe tap but the arch was too low). It was very easy to fit. If you fit Grohe taps you do need their adaptors.

As long as you’ve got a warehouse close, Buy a membership instore for a tenner more, use it to buy not only this tap but to use in the petrol station too.

Anyone seen an offer on a good sink to go with this?
I have this tap with the touch capability. Agree with other comments, superb quality and never had a problem in 3 years.

I have exactly the same question. Bored with looking at stainless steel sinks and not really knowing which are of good quality. Is the steel thickness a measurement of quality?
I have exact kitchen tap that I installed 3 months ago, costed me £149, it's tall and give more space to wash dishes but then you need to make sure that base is not just sink's steel as otherwise tap wobbles, water volume coming out from this tap is almost double than usual tap so install the water flow restrictor.

The fitting are as per EU standards so I need to replace the main connector to connect the tap.

Do you guys find that you get a lot of 'splatter' with the L shaped design as opposed to the curvier spout?
Would like to replace my mum's but don't want her complaining afterwards !

Would you say a composite is better? Does it wobble a lot on a normal sink? Thanks.

I had a grohe k7 kitchen tap which was stiff to move after 2 years. They sent a new replacement unit within 2 weeks.

Yes it does wobble on normal sink due to less thickness at base, it's bearable I say. If you have thick base it should not be an issue.

I've thought about getting a taller mixer tap, but our sink is quite thin steel. I wonder if I can reinforce around the hole with a bit of MDF or similar...

Yes it will do the trick.
Bought a similar tap from GROHE a while ago. Very solid and quite weighty. Mounted it on a regular stainless steel sink and it wobbled like mad, completely spoiling the “feel” of the nice tap. Bought a brace that is supposed to go underneath the sink but was so fiddly I gave up. You can get other braces as well but I didn’t think they would do it justice.

So i Just ordered a new granite sink from Franke. The tap fits perfectly and is rock solid, doesn’t move at all. The feel and quality of the combination is superb. You can get Franke sinks (and Grohe stuff) very reasonably priced from Amazon Germany which is where I got all of mine.
