A very nice wheat beer with 72p off it's normal price.

I'm not sure if it's end of line of not, none of the staff I asked seemed to know.

DescriptionAn extremely refreshing German style wheat beer imported from … DescriptionAn extremely refreshing German style wheat beer imported from Royal Grolsch Holland and crowned the world's best wheat beer in Nov '07. Grolsch Weizen is brewed according to the purity law of 'Reinheitsgebot' using 60% malted wheat, malted barley, hops, yeast, water and no additives. Grolsch Weizen is a non sweet, full and crisp refreshing wheat beer without a bitter aftertaste. It has an appetising banana and light spicy aroma. Unusual for a wheat beer, it has a great balance of flavour and refreshment. Grolsch Weizen is thirst quenching. ABV 5.3%.

It's the same kind of thing as Hoegaarden. I normally buy the Erdinger but this was too cheap to refuse. I'm ejoying one right now, cheers :-)

Great price for this beer, very much in the Hoegaarden style as Bleary has said, voted HOT for me as it's a quality beer!

I don't agree.
If you haven't tried Weis beer before, just buy one.
I tried it once and in my opinion, it's honking!

However, if you like this carp, fill yer boots

Sure it's an aquired taste but it's a different league from tasteless pish like Stella & its ilk.

It's the same as Guinness. Nobody ever likes their first taste of Guinness but it grows on you.

brewed according to the purity law

This is got to be hot for a beer of this quality.

It beats the 3 boxes of chemical manufactured larger for £12.00 that you see plastered across your daily newspaper.

How odd!
There I was, believing Lager was brewed to strict purity regulations and it was English beer that was the culprit in toxic produce!

Please educate me on which lager is as nasty as our produce.

Nasty as our produce? Well Carlsburg tastes like **** if that's what you mean.

You have answered your own question in a way.

I'm a ale drinker. But the only larger i would drink is that brewed by small independent breweries in the UK or continental lagers. Czech beers

are good beers.
