Been a few Grundig TVs on here in the past. This one is the Eloquence model. I think its biggest weak point is its contrast ratio (800:1). But for the price. Unlike some past deals with them, it is in stock and can be added to the basket and isn't a 'coming soon' type offer. Free delivery.

Not bad.

These are standard Vestel TVs (same as Bush, Goodmans etc) but even so, Grundig kit tends to be a little better specced and at £299 that is a good deal, and a nice alternative to the ebuyer one (which is by an unknown brand name -- the Grundig will look a lot more credible in your living room if nowt else!!).

Whilst the price is good - I agree - don't be fooled by the Grundig name, they sold out to rebranding cheap makes some time ago. I took apart a Grundig DVD player and found it to be a cyberhome inside..........

I have always been quite impressed with grundig products over the last couple of years. I have a mp3 player and dvd player and both have been good, the mp3 player especially so. How recently have they started rebranding cheap makes and selling it as their own?

The original Grundig went bust about 4 years ago.

The name is now owned by Beko and Alba.
