What's the average W standby power on a non "Low Energy freeview box" out of a matter of interest? Just wondering if the difference is nominal i.e.if it's just marketing/sales talk.

Not a lot of difference then between low energy and normal, certainly not worth switching for that reason. But if you are looking for a new box it's a good prioce for this model.
I bought one of these today to replace a box that has been carp since analogue switch off. But when I got home from Sainsburys I turned the old set on and it said that there was an over the air download available. I did the download and it's transformed my old box, so I guess that it's back to Sainsburys with the new one.
Or you could go here - like I just did - and get it for £14.48 delivered.
