Brushless …Brushless yesSPECIFICATIONhttps://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gsb-18v-ec-18v-2-0ah-li-ion-brushless-cordless-combi-drill/3030j#product_additional_details_container

No its not, the brushless drill has the EC sticker on it, as the screwfix one you show has, this one doesn't have that.

Does Bosch allow their batteries to be compatible with its other products ie.. circular/skill saw pls?

Bit disappointed it is not brushless after all but, at the price there is nothing out there that comes even close.

Did you see the Aldi deal posted on here? I know the batteries are small but because the motors are brushless you should still get a good run time. As regards to them not being a well known make they're made in Germany so that should give some confidence. Also you get a 3 year warranty instead of 2! The impact driver produces 250nm torque which I believe is more than the Bosch in this set. And I'm pretty sure the spare £65 would buy some extra batteries if you really needed them! But each to their own

We don't have Aldi here in Jersey...but we do get VAT removed by Amazon...so the Bosch set actually worked out @ £154

it is a good deal for a brushless, I would like aldi to give out more information how to get spare battery and charger, also if broken, how to claim? sometimes they would not accept in store return and how to contact the seller.

Is this the same drill unit as the deal for the drill and battery at B&Q back in April?

The description was: Bosch Cordless 18V 1.5Ah Li-Ion Combi Drill 3 Batteries GSB18-2LI

If so be careful with the drill as a number of us found that the chuck and therefore the drill be would have unacceptable wobble.

I sent it to Bosch who said there is nothing wrong with it, when clearly there was. So it was just returned to B&Q who accepted it back no problems.

It was a load of hassle and put me off buying Bosch tools.

Also the drill with 3 x 1.5 Ah batteries, case and charger was working out to just under £70 on the last deal, so is this the same drill?
If so, I would question the comment about the drill being £150 on its own.

If this is a completely different/better model, I'd ask someone to clarify to help others wondering.

On Amazon the very same drill is £195 and comes with 2 batteries - all positive reviews but one

Yeah we don't have them in NI either so I ordered them online and got them sent to a family member on the mainland where I'll lift them at Xmas whilst visiting them.

I have to say it is a good deal compared to what they normally retail at!

32499975-UpNzT.jpgI believe they are made by a German company Walter tools so you should be able to get compatible batteries online!

How can a company like bosch release a defromant product & get away with it, Makita and Dewalt are know to be the brand you can trust , and amongst tradesmen Festool are the best with prices beyond most peoples budget; guess thats why bosch deserve their position.
