no it was £5 see picture. Also just checked on amazon it's £5 direct from amazon themselves

I can't figure out what you can actually use this on on a bike.

Almost everything Halfords sells has a fake RRP

Halfords think they have a captive market (or whatever you want to call it) - it's about time they got some decent management in to shake up the business philosophy. I go there to see what's available and then buy it elsewhere. Even their cycle mechanics cannot make a brand new bike roadworthy... cjeck the reviews

I've bought a few of these and never paid more than a few quid

It's basically WD40 - a degreaser and penetrator (gear cogs/chains full of gunk & rusty/seized components) but once you've used it as a degunker you will need proper lubricants if you have an expensive bike or like to take proper care (especially gear cogs and chains).

Your mum and dad never buy you a bike?

Same price at Tesco too plus click and collect for free and no stupid queueing for ages unlike at Halfords.

As above it's a degreaser and penetrator. It's not a lubricant in its own right. The only thing I can really think of is to spray it down gear/brake cables to keep them pulling smoothly. Certainly no use for this on the chain, other than maybe to clean it up a bit.

Really the most stupid queuing I've ever experienced was collecting Tesco Direct orders!
