can't see any cheaper than £2 a can on ebay so 3 for £5 is good.

small niggle: it is isn't exactly a lubricant, more of a water displacer, like WD40 but with teflon (which is a lubricant so it dries and leaves some behind).
be careful not to spray into bearings - ruined a freehub with this stuff.

what exactly would you use this for?

Perhaps the type of woman who hangs around premiership footballers might find it useful?

basically, unseizing things and driving water out of things.
It is NOT a chain lube. it's almost a degreaser. hence my warning above.

The only part of my bike I use this on is to polish the frame....don't get it anywhere near your brake calipers or use it to lubricate the suspension forks as it will rot the fork seals.

i bought 3 cans of this for £5 a few months ago when i saw the deal in Halfords. it looked like good stuff to lube the bike chain as it has teflon in it. dont ever use WD40 for that though...it will wear down the chain and sprockets quickly as i found out myself. the comments by @Smiff make me think if this GT85 is any good to lube bike chains or not...

Well my local Halfords could not do this 3 for £5 deal, I did ask but was told £2.49 was half price for the first can only, one per customer next one would be full price, the till was not set up to do the 3 for £5 either so maybe I'm unlucky but good luck to the people who have got it.

Mmmmm, interesting. Just everyday white spirit and car oil? To what consistency??

I used a couple of cap fulls of 2-stroke oil in about 1/2 liter of everyday white spirit and put it in a plant sprayer. It cleaned off muck and grime as you would expect with White spirit and left behind a film of oil for protection. I was desperate because I ran out of WD-40 and noted a post on a forum claiming WD-40 was basically spirit with a mineral oil. You can experiment with the mix.
You could also use cooking oil and baby oil!
Just google WD-40 ingrediants and decide yourself
