good price for an all rounder spray
This 400ml GT85 is a cleaning/lubricant spray that can be used on your bike. It is non-sticky, an effective penetrator, water displacer and rustproofer with PTFE.

A CFC-free propellant that is ideal for use on derailleurs, cables, cycle transmissions, hubs and brake levers, it can be used for both cleaning and lubrication. It has a powerful new spray action that flushes out crud, leaving a tough, long lasting PTFE film that lubricates and protects all metal and plastic parts.

Not such a bargain since you can buy 200ml cans at any pound shop.
I was in Aldi yesterday and didnt see this otherwise I'd have bought some. I'll see if they've put any out when I go on thursday to pick up some cycling gear

    Got one yesterday
Although you can get this free or for an equivalent price at most pound shops, this will still go hot no matter how poor the deal is just like any Aldi offer posted.
A quick search reveals GT85 usually sells for a lot more than £2 ............. Wiggle for instance have it on sale for £2.25 + del

Halfords ( as mentioned ) £2.25, down from £4.99 ...................... Tooled up £3.95 etc etc

This price at Aldi is a very good price, so unlike the Aldi haters and deal poster Trolls, I vote this hot.....

and .... "Not such a bargain since you can buy 200ml cans at any pound shop."........... So this deal is as cheap (technically cheaper) as you can find, but it is not hot? What sort of logic is that?

    Thanks for the effort OP

I have never seen gt85 in any pound shops, they do wd40 but gt85 is much better in my opinion
It's not a bad lubricant and not bad at cleaning the chain set etc, but wouldn't use on the rest of the bike, as no doubt would end up on the brakes or something.
This is free on 02 priority at Halford. Not sure how long the deal is still on for
If none at aldi same price at planet x ATM
Can you use it on curtain rails or is it more like an oil?
In Aldi from 25th - it's linked to the bike stuff that's on sale from tomorrow.

And yes you could use it on curtain rails - it's much lighter than WD40.

I assume he means you can buy 2 cans for 2 quid which would be a fair point. Unless a penny is really important to you!
Is this stuff going to do the same thing as the likes of "Finish line" lube.
I always thought wd40 and the likes were bad to rely on as a lubricant....

Thanks, yes tried it on the curtain rails. As you say, lighter than WD40 and less oily although not quite as effective as rubber and nylon lubricant.
