I have also found CEX to have the 360 version available at £10 too, and the PS3 version being on-sale at £8. Personally, I would prefer to buy from Argos as I would only trade things in at CEX. But if you're interested, here's the links to those as well:

already in my original post buddy

I'd personally prefer to buy from Argos. I think that buying from CEX online is a risk - I've purchased a few games that have been in shoddy condition, either with the case or the disc having scratches. Obviously if you can get it in store then that would be better, but if there's only one left and it comes out that it's terrible then it's not really a deal. I've bought a few off of Argos before and they've been really good.
but that's just my take on it.

This is cold. The newer one was £5 at currys on xbox.!

A good price, however a word of warning...

I managed to pick up a copy of this from an Argos in Sheffield on Sunday, went home to play it and found that my XBOX 360 wouldn't even recognise the disc. Removed the disc and found that it had numerous deep scratches all over it. Tried to clean it, but no luck.So had to return for a refund.

So much for Argos testing all the games before re-selling them!

Episodes from Liberty City is a standalone compilation of DLC..hardly a "newer" version. In any case, it is now unavailable.

Really? You've personally checked all the Currys/PC World stores in the country and ascertained it's completely sold out?...No? Didn't think so

But yeah you are right, it's not the same thing at all.

Anything used is a risk - but as with Argos you can return for a replacement anyway in any CEX store or on line.

So i'd rather pay £8.

Says it's unavailable online, so I would be inclined to think that stock availability would be ridiculously low nationwide.

Providing you have a PS3 of course.

So you don't know then, you're just guessing (_;)

I wouldn't call it "guessing", I'd call it utilising information from a reliable source to form a reasonably sound conclusion. PC World were selling Left 4 Dead 2 for £5 in November - stock was limited throughout the country but you were still able to check the stock in a local area. If you go through to the product page for Episodes from Liberty City, you're greeted by "Sorry! This item is not available" and recommends another game. This either indicates no stock or ridiculously low stock.
Yes the only way you'd know for sure is if you go and check every store, but due to the time, effort and money required no-one is going to do that. I think I'll trust whoever owns PC World and Currys now and believe that it's unavailable.

I would also "guess" that Dodos are extinct, seeing as the authority/body who keeps track of this kind of stuff says it is.

Thats the Episodes from Liberty City add-on, which has always been cheaper than and doesn't include the main game (_;)
If you are going to attempt to **** over a thread, at least get your facts straight...

Well, yeah - surely thats fairly obvious for a ps3 game LOL

Stop being so defensive! I'm not attacking you, just pointing out for others there is a cheaper price available.
