I didn't give me an option, I cannot find anything online. However, it does transfer your online progress across.

So this so-called deal is actually that Game Pass is free - for you, by your definition. For regular people who pay money for Game Pass, it's not free is it?

so does getting to hot deals as well we all pay for internet acess
Thanks for the heads up - I wish I hadn't seen this as I had to invest in 2 physical copies at full price for the kids...
I'm still deliberating over the merits of purchasing 3 years of live & upgrading it or just the 1 year of live & upgrading it, ah you gotta love first world problems!
If I log on an Xbox 360 could I download the 360 version from Gamepass?

I meant properties vehicles nightclubs clubs are all massively expensive so to get them you would most probably have to pay real money not referring to internet access

It is. So why not post this 'deal' for every gift card etc... you can get for "free" from MS Rewards? Or 100+ times for Game Pass as it's not only GTA that is free, but many games? Don't forget the "free" Xboxes & laptops because you can enter MS Rewards competitions & you probably won a competition once, right?

To earn enough points on MS Rewards for Game Pass or gift cards you'd have to do it by spending money as can't do it only doing the daily challenges.

Do you have 4 kids or are you unaware of how to game share? I share with my son, yes you have to buy digital, but it’s still a lot cheaper

MS Rewards is regularly posted on here and is generally well received and gets good heat. And its entirely possible to get enough points each month for Gamepass just by completing the clicks and quizzes.

I’ve always found digital games on Xbox to be so expensive. I remember about a year ago when I wanted gta again. I looked on the store and it was £40 plus. The. I bought a preowned copy for £15 on eBay and then traded it for £10 a few months later.

Sometimes buying 2 copies can work out cheaper than game sharing, you just have to be savvy.

I always prefer physical copies - you can't trade in a digital copy!
I'm also not sure that GTA V was available (well not at the right price) as a digital option when I purchased the 2 copies of Xbox One GTA V (I still have 4 copies of it for the 360!).
I did trade in all my physical Wii games, I guess I might have to start selling my 360 stuff and perhaps my original Xbox collection, not sure it'll be worth the effort though...

I never considered ordering it on a monthly basis! I've been saving up to buy a year at a time, they now seem to only offer 3 months at a time (I guess my reasoning is that I want to use the £1 upgrade to ultimate offer!).
You can earn 150 points daily just from mobile & PC searches, a further 12 points if you use Edge. That's 162 points daily, you can then earn rewards and that varies daily, but is generally around 250, also the rewards on Xbox can be earned in additional, so you can earn at least 300 points daily, that's at least 2100 points a week. You also get bonus streaks if you log in daily which adds another 150.

I do 3 months at a time normally or the odd £5 now and again, I do it for 2 accounts though as you can 'gift' 5k points a month.

Yeah I only prefer physical. I don’t know if I would trade 360 things in. Plus a lot of the games are backwards compatible.

I couldn’t trade my 360 in, I’ll be honest I think the 360 did for console online gaming, what the ps1 did for console 3d graphics. It should be kept and cherished lol .

I was generally defending you as I think digital games are firstly so expensive, secondly you can’t trade them in.

If you're one of those people who HAS to have day 1 access, it can be, but if not, you'd be surprised, especially when CDKeys have good discounts on credit.I think I paid about £76 for the non-standard Modern Warfare at launch (son wanted it, I would have waited), so for 2 copies that was a good deal. I don't trade, never have so that's not an issue for me

But as I said, if you game share, you can halve the cost

Another reason why I don’t like digital is because when eventually they pull the service I would have no games. So even if you don’t like to trade, one day you might find yourself with no games. Imagine if sega sold digital games on the Dreamcast.

I always find physical games to be cheaper hence why I like physical, plus I like to actually own something physical. But it’s personal preference.

I doubt that they would pull the games, the library is likely to be used to bolster the next gen like 360 titles do now. By the time they go off, I’d say you won’t want to play them, it’s like Xbox games, they were good, but now they look carp.

The whole physical thing I get, but I’m lazy, having a “jukebox” games library means I don’t have to get off my lard
I need people to do heists. I'm a late comer and the lobby never gets four players in it these days. DM me if interested plz!!!
