Game Deal of £41 for GTA and then £20 for Splinter Cell is good considering you can trade Splinter Cell back to them for £27 quid trade in, effectively making GTA £34, and this call all be done on a high street, no waiting for delivery.

!!! Maybe its because games are over priced and not good enough ??? Just a thought .
people not entitled to a day's annual leave or to work a shift which isn't 9-5 in your little world?
I remember paying £40 for super mario 3 on the NES. Games are one of the few things to have stayed the same price for a very long time. This means there a lot cheaper in real terms than they were despite the cost to make them sky rocketing!
Because we don't all support the policy of 'pre-owned over new' employed by the likes of GAME and GameStop, which is a contributing factor in struggling studios not making enough money and going under perhaps? Just a thought.
I was sat looking at the postbox for 45 minutes waiting for that beautiful little box hit the ground, I was rewarded with a credit card bill, a Dominos menu and some double glazing spam, might go for a bit of a cry now.
Yeah, but you're likely too late now:

Doing the Xbox deal comes up at £66.50 without. Because you can get the points for less elsewhere, this isn't a good deal.
No because the code is new customers only.
Because it's actually kind of a hassle, you pay full price and then you have to send them to two games and the wait to be refunded. Is it even cash you're refunded? It may be online credit for Gamestop only, most people probably wouldn't buy from there again.
Me and you both, considering all the Amazon pre-orders that have already been received it wouldn't surprise me
Wouldn't count on it, Mine was also dispatched Saturday nothing in the post today for me.
£7 X)
That's got nothing to do with it!
They are offering it for £8 less than the preorder price if bought with a £25 card before any vouchers are applied, so if they are going to do as I suggested, because of their preorder price promise, they will email an offer of a £25 card for £17.
Not really Tesco's fault.
I'm not holding my breath but it would be nice
could you give a link to the deal?
I didnt know about it until it was too late, im doing it for batman though.
Might do this, i always need psn fred
do you mean splinter cell blacklist?
Just a thought.. or a snarky, ill-thought-out argument which fails and fails hard?
People want and have the right to buy things for the lowest possible price - this is called a market economy, and you've probably lived in one your entire life. It's got its problems but it seems to be the current favourite. I could go into detail on the rights and wrongs but even games developers themselves buy and sell second-hand games. Neither they nor I expect people to hang onto games they'll never play again and lose out on £20-odd so that developers don't miss out on a couple of quid at most they'll get next time the title is bought new. Are you really saying I'm supposed to forgo my economic rights and hurt my finances in order to support their broken business model and because their games didn't sell enough in the first place? Is that right?
I'd love to stay and chat, but you probably need to find somewhere to park those three cars you've got sitting out the front of your house - because after all, you always buy new and don't contribute to the used car industry.
or you could get a job
bring back tescos entertainment! i never had a problem when it was just that, could get it a few days early and decent offers too!
Probably £5 with a cooked chicken
I think I can handle putting two games in an envelope and waiting a few days (or even, gasp - slightly longer!) to get £18 paid back to me, and yes you get the money back - not credit. So it doesn't seem like much of a hassle to me.
