"Picks up crap"..

So does this (can't resist, saw it on the HUKD FB feed earlier facebook.com/hot…018 )33196253-KkGXV.jpg

These are decent, much better than the dyson cordless ones by far and the battery lasts more than double the time too.
Please don’t waste your money. We have one of the mk1 versions which I had out briefly last night. After pushing the dirt around the floor for 10 minutes I finally gave up and got out the corded Henry hoover which did the job in seconds.
Use code FIVE4U (new customers) for extra fiver off qvcuk.com/UK/…957

We bought the new K9 version. Argos had a deal recently and included a handheld too. It was £279, but with my 8% Reward Gateway deal I get through work, it was down to £254! It’s a great product!
Got this for £160 in the ebay 20% sale and have been very pleased with it so far

This is the MK2
I bought the MK2 a few months ago. Outstanding performance.

Forget the K9 version, it doesn’t have any upgraded working parts, it’s just got some more durable plastics.

This is easily good enough to be your “main” vacuum cleaner, but I would advise getting the Gtech Multi to go with it. Makes light work of the stairs and furniture.

If you buy the air ram, don be afraid to force the arm dead flat to the floor, you can get under ANYTHING when you do that. But I was to scared to bend it down that much as I thought it would snap, but it’s fine
Is this alot better tan the cordless vax machines arrow 36v ones and similar that regularly go down to about 70 quid or less.or is this just another ripoff brand like Dyson
It's fine... Not great on edges... I bought mine from Lakeland with 3yr warranty for 200,
Has anyone had experience with both this and the Shark equivalent?
You can't use the £5 discount and get the 3 months interest free I see, only pay outright if you use it

No experience with the listed brand, but I am very happy with the Shark 680 model!! Better than the Dyson it replaced.

Yeah I have to echo those comments. The thing is leaps and bounds better than the Dyson Ball it replaced - that thing was hopeless, forever clogging as there is stupid designed kink in the path which you cannot unblock easily without dismantling the thing and was always a pain to empty without getting it everywhere but the bin you are aiming at. No chance of those things with this, the dirt is taken straight from the floor in to the container with nothing to block up. IIRC the K9 comes with an additional set of filters too over the standard one? I only have the K9 so not entirely sure what the difference was.
The Multi - that was a waste of money though, really has very little suction at all, the brushed stair tool is ok though for the places the upright wont go.
I was surprised at how tiny this was in real life
I have the Dyson V7 Animal cordless and love it, ‘this looks like a good deal though,
I have the k9
love it
Very light and easy to manover and carry, fab for anyone with dexterity or arthritic type issues
These are ok for a quick scoot about the carpet but they don’t have dust filters, great machine don’t get me wrong but I have this and the handheld one and I also have a shark plug in vacuum which does the real cleaning.

Try cleaning the filters, we have a mk1 and it works fine
Decent hoover but packs in quickly. Bought originally from JL with free 5 year warranty and it broke down twice during past 5 years. Gtech replaced it no fuss, free of charge each time, but not expecting the third one to last much longer!
buy the best hoover ever made

dyson dc07 - this is a beast

I don't believe it. We've had the mark 1 for 3 years & it's the best cleaner we have ever used by a country mile. NEVER has it pushed the dirt around. We also have a Henry & Miele. In the past we have had two Dyson that kept going wrong.

Cheers! That’s what I keep hearing about Shark from a lot of ex Dyson owners. Think I’ll look for a Shark, but the GTech has been tempting.

The K9 is strengthened by aluminium components to resist the wear and tear caused by even the toughest cleaning environments, time and time again.
We had a K9 and sold it. It didn't pick up all her dog fur and it just kept getting her fur wrapped around the rollers, so constantly had to keep cleaning them.
Also had to have a replacement chassis twice and a new battery.
We now have a Shark and it's brilliant

Haha, I read that in my head in the guy from the advert's voice. So infuriating.

Totally agree, I have have the older G -Tech, mine is brilliant wouldn’t be without it. Clean filters every month and free hair from rollers.Only downside doesn’t clean edges of carpet.
Anyone care to comment on what is a reasonable expectation of useable battery life (not running time) I see replacement batteries are £70 so something to factor in on running costs.
I always see a lot of hate for Dyson on here but they are by far the best vacuum cleaner I’ve used over the last ~10 years. Is the hate purely for the prices / hate for the company rather than the actual product?
My 1st henry lasted 10 years & my 2nd is on its way 2 matching that..
MK1 had a five year warranty, MK2 has a two year warranty now i wonder why that is!
Just ordered but didn't take off £5. Think it's because it's on advance order. Thanks ops.
Mother had one a she said it was rubish I chucked in a skip.
These machines are not hoovers ... they are vacuum cleaners ! :-)

Err no they ain't.Dyson all the way.Cost a good bit but worth while over this piece of ugly scrap.
Can’t trust the QVC reviews....One supposedly given yesterday 3rd, extolling the machines virtues....says the price today is awesome and 3 easy pays it’s a steal........ The price wasn’t known yesterday !
If the brush bar is anything like on the MK1 i wouldn't waste your money total 'mare to clean out any hair in it you have to dismantle the machine to get the rollers out, have a vax and the brush is a hell of a lot easier to remove and clean
