GTECH Cordless Sweeper SW02 £39.99 at Waitrose

Waitrose (I went to the one in Meanwood, Leeds) are selling the GTech SW02 for £39.99.

I am assuming this is a national deal

Everywhere else I could check, this was nearly £50 or more (even John Lewis online)

It gets really good reviews, and seeing as our Miele S4 Gold Edition has started to smoke from its motor and intermittently cut out, I thought i'd grab one of these.

I couldn't find it for £39 online, however these look great. I am going to look out for one in the sales. But if I needed it now I'd be tempted to pay the extra £10 and get a 2 year warranty from John Lewis.

We've got one of these, paid £40.50 from Debenhams and got a £10 voucher too. Good for crumbs, cat litter and cat biscuits but not a lot else.

Would never replace a proper vacuum cleaner as it has no suction, just a brushing motion like a sweeper my gran had 30 years ago. Handy for using inbetween rounds of the Dyson.

Thank you so much for your honest comment Might go for the Gtech AirRAM after your comment, but even then 200£ for a cordless seems a lot. I have the Dyson handheld, but 6 minutes does not seem to be enough time, you know going through all the nooks and crannies

Don't get me wrong, it's worth £40 but it has it's place. It's complements a good vacuum, not replaces it. We bought one to replace a dustbuster, as I was fed up of bending down and the dirt falling out of the dustbuster.

The AirRAM looks very good, might be worth seeing what deals the manufacturer is doing direct.

I am quite peculiar about the cleanliness of my home, especially the living room, I would rather give it a quick once over every few hours after vacuuming, just to make sure clean is clean

The mother just purchased one from amazon delivered for £49.99 and loves it, post free. Very light for a pensioner or someone with disabilities and picks up very nicely, carpet, vinyl or wood

I've been using this for a week or so now, and use it to complement my Henry Vacuum, works brilliantly
