For anyone who missed out on the novatech deal yesterday!
It's slightly more expensive and delivery is due in a couple days.
This is perfect for 1080p gaming.
If palit isn't your thing, a gigabyte version is 187: amazon.co.uk/dp/…SI/

That's what I had been doing as well - got an RX 480 8GB for £178 and a Corsair AX760 Platinum for £88, it's a bit of a bargain if you can arrange your purchases around that.
But that's like winning the lottery, those deals are very hard to come by to say the least.
What 2017 games challenge a 1060 6GB at 1080p?
I second the question. What games challenge the 1060 6GB at 1080p?
Not really. When the 20% deal came out I didn't even bother looking until about a day after it started and found that stuff.
On the flip side I have had some absolute trash from Amazon Warehouse including PSUs missing a good chunk of the modular cables, GPUs that are DOA and items that are something else - maybe a bit of a lottery, but a gamble I'm willing to take.
Not many at the moment. It all depends on budget. If you can stretch further then do it so you can play 1080p ultra (or 1440p) for a year or so more. Or just accept you will have to turn the dial down on the quality a bit earlier..... and for not that much visual improvement to be honest.
If you were playing a game running “very high” quality on a fast paced game, I bet most few would say “hey that’s not ultra quality”, unless comparing side to side with a screen shot. .... ready to be shot down by the graphic whores.
I’d pick frame rate over quality any time (if I wasn’t a graphics whore myself lol).
