If you can point to the link it would be helpful as i'm in process of changing my spotlights to LED version and cheapest I found was from poundland and they are not dimmable.

they cost a fortune to run , you are better installing LED lamps

Do led versions blow as regular as the halogen type?

As stated, you really ought to be replacing with LEDs...sticking with halogens is a false economy. We replaced 20 halogen spots with LEDs and electric bill went down over 15% last year saving me about £70. They will normally last 4-8 years so worthwhile changing.

Forgot to say we got our LEDs from home bargains..absolutely faultless.

Good ones should last 15 years, versus 1-2 years for halogen.

id be interested too in cheaper LED bulbs, ive found them to be very harsh white and looking for warm white if possible.

It is worth noting, with the cheaper LED bulbs, they dont stock them in store. They keep only the more expensive ones.

You will have to order them either online with £5 del or click and collect next day(free)
