Overkill on a massive scale, i have an xml t6 single on my bars, and a single on my helmet for off road, rivals HID for brightness, this would be like close encounters.

I thought yay look at the number of emitters! it must be 6x brighter than a single emitter model! Nope, just kills the battery quicker and you can't put a filter on it to make it in to a non-dazzling beam due to there being multiple LEDs.

Magicshine all the way. Can't fault mine.

There's a bazillion magicshine copies on Ebay, just as good, for a lot less money. The xml t6 singles are more than enough if you have one on bar and one on helmet, and last a lot longer than a HID.

how long does battery last in actual usage ?

Is there a legal limit on the brightness of cycle lights like cars? Just that these days I'm blinded on the way to work by one guy on his bike though I suppose it's better to be seen that not

there is no limit of how bright it is as long its not pointing towards a car facing towards you. these lights are for mountain biking at night like cannock chase trials.
