Nice bit of kit......Can I polish me Nans dentures on this?
Edited by: "maffeycourt" 5th Feb
I use these in my job but can not think how you polish metal on them quite the opposite
150w - stop it with your finger.
I have it, not the most powerful but sure made some chisels useful again

Its not you , must run in the family if it is33211456-MVRg0.jpg.
This? Nothing else.

A bench mounted grinder with a decent amount of power? Well I'd use it for grinding steel and other metal objects. I might even pop a couple of polishing mops on it and do some linishing.

No, It is that bad, Mine was from Argos, Is black , Can't remember the name of top of my head, Paid 14 quid for it, As soon as you start to grind anything solid it just slows right down and stops, And takes a good 5 seconds to speed up again, Right before you slow it down to a stop 5 seconds later, Not even worth the £16.66.

Always find comments like this difficult to believe’ this grinder has great reviews and 150w of power is plenty IF you know what you are doing.

My guess is you may have had a faulty unit ( highly unlikely ) or quite simply you don’t know what you are doing ( likely )

I’ve got one albeit not this exact brand and it’s been brilliant’ used it loads of times to sharpen numerous objects and grind things down etc etc never once has it let me down, brilliant.

But then again like the majority of argos reviewers of this one, I know how to use it properly
