Yeah I try sticking to the good stuff from actual petrol stations like Bp, Esso, Shell, Texaco etc. Whilst I've stories of how the same fillers come to supermarkets, I just think they buy from anyone whole sale and whatever they get, they get. Not a chance I'd want to take. Engines are insanely expensive to repair. My little 1.5tdci fiesta will never make use of premium diesel sadly but its good to clean the injectors once in a while. Only problem is for it to do anything it needs to be run like 1000 miles or something. But thanks for your input and I'll probably stick to Costco from now on.
I drive a lot, over the last few months, this is what I am getting on a small tank (when I signed up I was making a saving of £7 per tank now only £5 per tank as prices have changed): Supermarket diesel/Gulf - 300-380 miles ~~£37 Standard Shell/Esso/Texaco - 350-430 miles ~~£43 Costco diesel ~ 400 miles (?Premium) ~~£38 Premium diesel 400-450 miles ~~£46 I still get petrol as needed despite trying to go via Costco (previously standard diesel), I did find with the supermarket petrol the car was sluggish and I needed to use premium fuel to get power back into my car.
last time I have check my local GULF garage it was like 30ppl more expensive than the rest
(police) is here... Laugh oooout loud 8)
Right or wrong ? :o
