I just rang them and it's as I expected. They don't specify how many items to bring but as it's for charity please bring what you can

Good deal, kids might be about the right age now

Matlock Bath site is a dump. never again

Couldn't agree more!!!
The rides are really old and unsafe looking and such poor rides too.

I've had no issues with the site at Warrington. It's not like Alton Towers, but they don't charge Alton Towers prices. Be careful on this "cheap ticket" days, the park can be busier than usual - and longer queues. Not sure if I agree with food bank charities, but that's another issue.

Thanks....Just booked MK. HOT!!!!

The parks do look a bit tired now but they don't rip you off like Alton Towers. I did used to worry a bit that the blokes controlling the rides all looked pretty old and unfit and wasn't sure how they would cope in an emergency. Good value at £9.

Was really put off when I went last year, while this be good value, I personally would put the money towards something else.

Heated as it is a deal regardless of personal opinion!

"Your donation will be sent to Trussell Trust Foodbanks to help support local people in crisis" = Your donation will be sent to Trussell Trust Foodbanks to allow feckless people to free up more money to be blown on fags/ Sky/ Beer/ gambling/ iPhone6 etc.

It pains me to say it, but I actually agree with Edwina Curry on this one (horrible woman that she is), food banks (on the whole) create problems as they allow people to mess up their priorities. We weren't rich by any means when I was a kid, but we survived, my parents made sure I had a roof over my head, heat, food and clothing (albeit Puma trainers). Many people nowadays EXPECT the things that everyone else works hard for, but they don't want to work.

Having worked in housing, I can tell you that benefits in this country are VERY generous and can easily support a family IF they manage their money. There is no need for food banks end of.

I disagree there as my mum is now disabled but gets only the lowest income support & dla and she cant walk but still has to pay her own mortgage and council tax not every one is the same !
Heat added as I be taking my son.

I agree that disabled do get screwed over, however, are you seriously suggesting that the tax payer should pay your mums mortgage off?? Shes making a choice to keep her house instead of selling up and going into council housing, that will be a difficult thing to pull off! As for the council tax, if shes on benefit, she should be getting a big discount, has she checked entitledto.com??

couldn't agree anymore. Trouble is there are not a lot of folks around with this thinking and hence we are getting screwed over by the likes of pamela1977...

Food banks are not just for people who are on benefits, they are there for anyone who is struggling, this includes people who are working. I would argue that there is a need for food banks and many people don't access them as they are embarrassed at asking for help, the majority of people at some point struggle and need a little help.

It is also not that easy to sell up and move into council housing

That's a bit harsh. This is a deal for a family day out and doing a little bit for a charity. There's absolutely no need to get personal. Shame on you. I also note that you have had no activity on your account in the 6 months you've had it, none whatsoever, it's almost as if you've been waiting for an opportunity like this to be cruel.

I reiterate, in days gone we didn't need food banks, that's because in days gone, people lived to their means......

Haha... I actually agree with SOME of what you say but to be honest, you're boring me now. I saw your comments on the other deal as I was searching to see if anyone had already posted this one. I recognised your name & your opinions instantly. Enough said. xxx

So you're telling me now that you take it upon yourself to check EVERY deal to see if already been posted before and read all the comments?! Dude, you need to find a new hobby!!!

Look, its really simple, if you don't like to read my comments, hit the "ignore" button, its not hard and trust me, I wont be offended. However, just because you take it upon yourself to research deals, many (I'd guess 99.9999999%) of people wont share your love of HUKD History and will not have read my comments before.

Regardless, they are my opinion and the last I knew, I was still allowed to have them and was similarly authorised to share them. If they disagree with yours, hey that's cool, we can disagree, its what adults do, but we really don't need a self appointed Kim Jong Un dictating what can and can't be said.

If you REALLY disagree with what I have said, report it and let the mods decide that's what they're there for

Dude, you can't post a deal twice or it gets removed so it makes sense to check that it hasn't already been posted.... I reiterate, enough said xxx Ps, I don't want to 'ignore' you, you're making me laugh too much

Please don't try to insult my intelligence, you're not that good at it! It's not an issue to check to see if something's been posted before, but it would have been blatantly apparent from the first screen that it was last posted ages ago so you would still have no need to go reading the posts, that's just a little bit... sad
