can you take these instead of protein shakes?

Sure, why not. You can take these instead of anything you like!

You can purchase these instead of protein shakes but taking them is tantamount to theft and we always prosecute.

I tried the banana type on Monday; it tasted very nice! It was a one-off treat cos I usually make my own milkshakes at home. However, I had this on the go and it was still a good buy! The only other flavours are (obviously) strawberry and chocolate. :P

tried the banana and strawberry last week, when cooled they reminded me of a mcdonalds milkshake mmm

tried the chocolate last week, was very nice!

Very nice milkshake

These are gorgeous, pop it in the freezer for half an hour to a hour, give it a good shake and its twice as nice when its thick! Better than McDonalds

They do have over 25g of protein tbf

I really really like these milk shakes! But why do they all smell funny?

It because of the protein, for some reason they are not advertising it as a protein shake but 27g of protein is pretty decent for 50p.

Just tried a strawberry one! I almost spat it out!! Really horrible taste doesnt even resemble a strawberry milkshake! Give me asda's own any day!!

I agree with hinchi85, I bought 3 of the Banana ones today from ASDA and it was the most vile thing I've ever tasted. Part resembles a taste of badly made custard. Shame its not their own brand otherwise I'd have taken it back under the guarantee Will never buy it again, shouldn't have been lured by the 50p price tag
