Mine worked great in Hong Kong last weekend
I read this as Ghostbuster umbrella and couldn’t figure out the connection -.-

I ain't afraid of no Gust! Gustbusters!
Good value and great spot, thanks Op - ordered
Hey OP,

Bought, hope it is the umbrella to rule them all, hehehehehe.

Have some heat
I like umbrellas with nice big handles for my big fat meathooks. The traditional hook and long wood grip is a classic. Those happen to NOT be in this sale.....

Unfortunately this has a generic looking tiny uncomfortable handle you see on ones that cost £2.99. The rest of it looks nice quality but the handle
An essential in Britain

Unfortunately the Life Time Guarantee would be no good to me. I've always lost umbrellas long before they've had a chance to break!
Not sure how this umbrella busts guts exactly.

It does not say this on the tin.
But, it could be useful against extinction.
I bought a similar umbrella from the now-gone halfcost dot com years ago (I'd assume it was just a copy of a more premium brand, though they stated a silly RRP). I broke it pretty quickly when there was a bout of stormy weather, and it ended up in the bin.
I have a Gustbuster that's about 12 years old and still going strong... Cost me about £60 back then, but money well spent after that long!
Very nice

Anyone else read this as “ghostbuster”?
I bought an almost identical umbrella for £3 in the charity shop although mine has a slightly larger handle. The spokes are excellent quality, feel strong and the umbrella copes well in heavy rain and wind

Hardening steel generally makes it more brittle and reduces its fatigue strength and produce rapid crack propagation. These ribs would likely snap rather than bend when subject to any significant load above yield.

Now this is a real COLD deal!!
Have the gustbuster 68 going years now never any issues use it for golf. And live in the north west of northern Ireland so it's well tested.

Tbh the 15 return for a new one years down the line I don't mind paying. Cost me nearly 50 quid at the time. So 15 is a fair price to pay on return for a replacement

68 years? £50 in 1951... that would be like enough money for a deposit on a house back then. I would have expected an umbrella made of gold. Or platinum...
Ordered one for myself

gustbusters are absolutely worth every penny they really withstand wind and are large. Its a false economy to keep buying cheap ones. Dont pay a fiver from a supermarket they will break this wont
Good price, shame about the colours
Probably better of with this: Compact”Teflon” Fast Drying Travel Umbrella, Reinforced Windproof Frame, Lifetime Replacement Guarantee, Auto Open/Close, Slip-Proof Handle for Easy C amazon.co.uk/dp/…Zv2
Not bad, OP. But I prefer the Balios umbrella on sale at Amazon for £18.99 - it's arguably better quality, especially the wooden handle.
