Thought this was good value for something simple that should help reduce debris going into gutters and drains and causing blockages.

So are you gutted?
This used to be stocked in the Pound shop, don't know if it still is. Well worth putting in your gutters to protect from leaves. Trouble is, moss loves it and grows to eventually block the gutter. However it is quite easy to remove the gutter guard and clean the moss off. Gutters should be cleaned at least once a year in any case.
Ewell (16.86 mi)
30 in stock
As a slater/roofer don't ever fit these just pointless they choke up as easy as the gutters, just clean your gutters or get someone to do it

Seems a bit pointless then.. If you need to get up there anyway and clean them regardless, why install this?

The difference is between cleaning once a year and three times a year. However it will depend where you live. In the country with lots of trees and bushes as opposed to the concrete jungle. Mind you sone towns it might protect your gutters against tennis balls, trainers and the like!
