Anyone got this? Any suggestion?
Lower down the product page is a cam like this with a motor so you can pan and tilt remotely, that's about £18 if that's useful
Looks a good price...almost too good: what is the security on these like?
Howmuch is the cloud storage though, you only get a trial 15 days
'Once when your camera can't connected to the wifi in about 10 seconds, it will automatically switch to the Amazon-AWS connection, and all become easy.'

Sounds great. Where do I find my Amazon-AWS connection? Is it that 3-pin socket just above the skirting?

Bought it for £13 about 2 weeks ago. You don't need cloud if you put SD card in
Works great, great quality, I like the software, the best I've seen so far, however it has an issue with sounds detection. If you set motion detection only, no matter what you'll do, you've got a message with that sound was detected. Quite annoying

Its an Internet of Things IoT device. The "S" in "IoT" stands for Security

It states in the product spec it's USB micro cable included. Looks as such on the back of the device too

I think there could be various reasons felt by people who buy these security cameras. Im happy to share my one: after we were burgled, distressing as that was, I couldn't care about the tv and things that the insurance company will replace. It would have been a heart breaking loss it certain items that are only of value to us and nothing to the burglar, were also taking in the grab. A policeman friend of our said that if they had video or photo even if it wasn't great, it's sometimes enough for a policeman to pretty much know who it is and get to them before that have a chance to get rid of the items.
my cam will send 5 photos in a row to my mobile immediately movement is detected in a room ( I can look through that camera from anywhere using my mobile. Anyway that evidence could describe a profile, and maybe what that person is wearing, and if you are lucky the face of the cheeky so and so.
ordered thanks
are these wireless or does it need to be plugged into the mains? looking to get some indoor cameras but less wires the better.
looking at pictures it juts needs micro usb connection to mains? am I right?

ordered thanks

How much did you pay
I ordered on two weeks ago, they're good. Easy to set up. Quality is good to average.

They only require a USB connection only, it's supplied but the plug is EU so will need to be near a USB port.

Its WiFi is 2.4ghz only and cannot run on dual band WiFi annoyingly.

There is an issue for the sound detection which will hopefully be rectified with an appropriate update on the app.

Overall for £14 it's good.

Thanks for the personal reply mate, and sorry to hear you were burgled.

I have been thinking for some time, with reports of attempted break-ins in my so called nice area I call home, about upgrading my home tech to include a professional CCTV package, motion detecting spotlight etc but not really savvy with all of this stuff.

Would I be right in guessing this is something you would simply stick in the house, maybe on a cabinet or table, and leave recording whilst out of the house, which would kick in should someone come in and trigger the motion sensor?

Also, the photo's you mention that get sent to your phone, do they come through in real time? or do you need to login to an app?

All educated experience would be much appreciated.
Basically on movement detection the camera sends me an email immediately containing 5 photos. So yes assuming I have 3G or wifi I get the alert that movmenent has been detected straight away as I always have my monile

For the extra fiver, I would go with the 'snowman' model, 1080p and also an ethernet connection.
Mine arrived this morning. I don't have an android device atm so used the website link listed in the manual. (https://www.eyeplusiot.com/) Plugged the camera into the pc usb and it goes through a series of pans & tilts before returning to original position. Not detected though

Mine is the same, just can't get it to work.
Also there is a security issue with this and many other networked cameras, you apparently need to disable Onvif, as this allows anyone to connect to it over the Internet.

Sadly not. It won't even go through its power on routine anymore anyway, so I've contacted them and waiting to her back.

I messaged them to ask for a refund as the camera won't even accept my mobile phone internet. They have sent me a file which i'm meant to upload onto a memory card & insert into the camera..will let you know if this works..just trying to find a suitable SD card first
