This WIFI IP camera seems cheaper than last time i bought. You can have it only for £13.09.

It has Pan&Tilt IR-Cut night vision two-way audio motion detection alarm, support Amazon-AWS[Amazon web services] cloud storage service.

I bought it when it was last on offer with a code, the quality is pretty good and you can pan/tilt it when viewing from the phone or browser. The problem is the Amazon-AWS which is the default storage option, after the trial ends, it is quite expensive if you want to keep using it, I think it's $6 a month if you want to store last 30 days of your recordings and more expensive if you want to keep it longer.

You can also record to a micro sd card but if someone breaks into your house, they could just steal your ip camera and you would lose all recordings, so not exactly reliable.

I will be looking for a different camera as my 2nd.

Great price if it's any good.

Is it only possible to view via Amazon -AWS?
I got this last time on offer, cant get the auto notifications to mobile to work on android and the support team at gearbest were unable to help.
The device does work well though.
Anybody know what other apps may be compatible other than the default Guudgo app? I have no requirement for cloud storage so that may expand control / viewing options. Thanks.

Comments in the product forum suggest it requires an internet connection to function and is only viewable via cloud access :- forum.banggood.com/for…tml

Which also means you are solely reliant on the security of the camera and the remote server ensuring no one else can hack or view it, so I'm out.

I would hope that you'd still be allowed to view it, just not record to the cloud once the free cloud storage trial runs out, but you'd need to check that.

View live footage via smartphone/tablet app / PC; only the optional recordings are stored on AWS or microsd card.

Do you subscribe to the AWS service? If not, has it been more than two weeks since you first used the device and does the Android Guudgo p2p app still function? Thanks.

Not subscribed to AWS, I've had my camera set up for 9 days, the app works great on android, can see old footage in time and date order, pan tilt the camera and talk back, just don't get notifications on movement and sound. I also have it set up on my iphone and get the notifications, maybe a permissions issue on my android phone for the app but not got round to looking into it. Hope that helps

Appreciate the info. Hope you won't mind a nudge in a week or so to see if all still well. Thanks.

Compatibility with another app? Pah! I couldn't even find an app, any app, to play the videos recorded in the sd card, because they are in V264 format (not to be confused with H264) which nobody use any more. I had no choice but to access the videos recorded in the sd card, because the apps (both android and windows) are absolutely rubbish, because they hang all the time when viewing earlier recordings.

I have written a review at hotukdeals.com/com…233

Avoid.

Cheers!
£12.34 if you search for the product instead of following the link. Heat
I did warn people the last time this deal was posted that this camera was not onvif supported, so you were unlikely to find a good app to use with it. Also that this camera is tied to amazon cloud subscription, which was part of the reason it was cheap. Paying a monthly aws fee adds up massively over a couple of years, making this camera's low initial price a false economy.

I managed to get my dusty old foscam working again by bringing the power source closer to the camera itself. So in the end I didn't end up getting this or that rubbish foscam C1 that was on offer last month. Hopefully a legit company (because foscam seem to be going down the toilet these days) will come out with a good, mid priced, well featured ip camera soon. While the Arlo's have very good reviews, they are still pretty steep at £120 a pop.
RTSP or ONVIF
Can you just not use this camera with the SD card option then
Looks ace for the price...

Yes. Had no issues buying from them and stuff hasn't broken down two minutes after arrival.
Mobius camera I got from them is still working fine after two years sat on my cycling helmet for the daily commute to work.
I don't need to record does this camera just work as a live link to check on my pets at home whilst I am out?
Is this PoE?
the other security camera which was on offer was able to send 5 photos whenever any movement was detected..does this one not do that? even if someone broke the camera when entering the property you would have photos of them sent to your e-mail
I've just received mine and it works great to log in and check on my dog if I'm out with a live feed
What's the audio like? I bought a similar one from Amazon but can hardly hear anything, I need one as I'm a carer for my wife.
Does it have Smtp features?
Thanks
