That's weird.

Heat added
Shame its not hardlex, but heat anyway.

Perfect
Just crooked my neck looking at the date
A bull head.
I recently bought two Seiko's online from them and both had no tags and no wrapping! On returning to the shop I was told they were both display models from various stores as they had none new in stock! Beware

Totally. Voted cold due to the lack of hardlex.

CRYSTAL
Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal

Just as good for a watch of this price IMO.

Yea but there's no substitute for a good bit of Hardlex.
It's 6 of one and half a dozen of another. To explain; Sapphire Crystal is more scratch resistant than Hardlex, but Hardlex is more shatterproof than Sapphire!
Shame it’s not an Acrylic Crystal. Would have bought it.

I’ve also had a couple of bad experiences with H Samuel. Bought a Bulova which was sent in the wrong box and had missing paperwork and then I ordered another watch and finally a week after my order, they tell me it’s out of stock 🙈
I not sure what's with all the hardlex gags. But for those not in the know,
Hardlex is a Seiko proprietary type of hardened mineral crystal and comes in at least two different varieties (what goes in Seiko 5 is not the same quality of what goes into ISO divers). Hardlex is closer to 7 in the Moh scale, but is much more flexible than sapphire. Sapphire is harder but more brittle. Hardlex will scratch easier but resists impact much better. I have watches with both. Never chipped, scratched or shattered an sapphire. But have scratched a hardlex.
Not really sure. I do like bull heads, but I don't like the dial on this one. Anyway heat added for big discount.

I think its just the new buzzword being used by people trying to be clever. Like others have said if you know a bit about watches there is an argument for all types of face protection depending how or where you wear the watch. I think for most people for day to day wear saphire is more than adequate. However, if you're one of those magicians that puts watches in a bag and smashes them to bits....Hardlex could be a good choice.
I have a mint vintage Citizen Bullhead from the 70,'s . The watches I've seen this year on this site a lot of been throwback look a likes .
Good saving but what an fugly useless dial you can't see the hamnds

Good price. But can't stop commenting that there is too much going on in the dial

It’s a cracking watch for £300 pictures don’t do it justice.
