yeah, not great really....

IDE drive, so basically limited to how much storage you can have.
FAT32 - so limited to filesize of 10/100 ethernet - so not very fast transfer speed either.

But might be OK for some people, so haven't voted either way.

Shame about the shipping, might have been tempted otherwise

100Mbit isn't too bad; it's good enough for almost everything bar the backbone at the university I work for. To be honest, I'd be surprised if the CPUs on many of these SoHo NAS devices can saturate 100Mbit anyway.

I've got a similar drive to this, the perfomance sucks, but it's a great resource to share between multiple computers and if you've got an old IDE drive the price is right :-)
