Just a heads up I am sitting on this chair right now and don’t think it’s worth £80 - would rather spend more on something more solid (edited)

Personally, I’d go to a second hand office chair shop and try some out and see what works for you. May cost you a bit more but well worth it. I paid £45 three decades ago and the chair needs replacing now but it’s still usable. Just got one recently for £120 as new and it’s not quite as good but still going to be better than the one listed here I’d have thought.

Second hand fecal matter dust inbedded in the chair. I'd rather sit on a security fence

Every time I see an office chair posted here, it reminds me I need a new chair. Then I read the reviews here that say not to buy it. So I don't. Rinse repeat.

Argos owns Habitat doesn't it? This is basically £80 for an Argos group office chair. Is there anything about it that is good value for money compared to other £80 chairs?

    Not worth £80, comfy though

Have had this exact chair around a year. Absolutely fine for a basic home chair. It’s very much a “get what you pay for” chair and better than the £50-60 IKEA chair I had previously.

It’s fairly squeaky which I’m sure some WD40 and a touch of grease will sort. The headrest fixing is really crap though.

If you’d want something cheap and cheerful go for it.

If you’re wfh a lot of the time it’s worth investing in a Herman Miller Aeron, Steelcase or something similar. Second hand FB, gumtree is fine. Your back will thank you.

How does this compare to Costco mesh chair?

Does anybody have one of these? jysk.co.uk/off…ack

They usually have a 50% off offer which I'd say is the true selling price but I guess right now they are pretending to sell it at its full price so that the sale price seems more genuine.

Or maybe inflation is hitting so hard they are going to try and flog the chair off at this price now.

You really want to avoid chairs like that, you'll get so sweaty. Stick with something mesh like this. (edited)

I have this chair and it’s decent but does slowly lower overtime.. I’m only 13 stone so shouldn’t really drop. It is nice though for the price

Be sure to check the back height, I'm 6'2 and this was nowhere near high enough
