sorted by10 warrenty only on parts you have to pay labor. and how much is the labor??? £145 so the engineer turns up with a door handle as its broke, he spends 1 hour replaceing you have paid £145 for a £30 part basicaly they have just built the price into the labor.
They also sell your details to legal and general their extended warrenty company who then call you to sell you a warrenty on your product. this happened to me when i selected not to call when registering my 10 year guarentee. i explained to the salesman that i have a 10 year guarentee and he said no you dont you have 1 year and after that you have to pay. so i explained i at least have section 75 guarentee on credit card that goods have to be fit for purpose and i dont expect an applience to break in 1 year, he hung up.
