I wouldn't buy one if I was you. I worked there for a few years and the returns are appalling
stupid question perhaps (i'm male i cant be expected to know ffs!) about the fridge/freezer...

the left hand size top to bottom is freezer and right hand is the fridge? and there is an icetray bit inside the fridge for some reason as well?
not certain as other than what looks to be icecream and icelolly moulds it looks like some odd stuff shown (can see freezebox label though on one layer)

edit: nvm needs about a metres width

No they are brand new. Not allowed to sell refurbished as new its against the law. I just know their products appeared to have a high failure rate when I sold them. They also have a very poor after sales. Returns are easy as they go back to AO and cross charge the supplier

but they are not AO products - they are branded products which they sell
why would their failure rate be higher than an identical product from another retailer?

1st March, I believe, I got an email from eBay offering the discount code on any item from AO with a minimum £40 spend.

That'll be because it was posted on this site, earlier when I checked they had sold 4 in the hour, now it states 18 in the past 24 hours, they're obviously now try to cash in with the overpricing of the appliance now @£499, "Cheeky Bbarstewards"

P.S. The same Fridge Freezer is selling for £399 at currys full price.
I'm now voting this deal as COLD because they have put the price up to £499, you can get it from Currys for £399

Why did you get rid of it?

any other brand you worked for that you would recommand?

Yes I would always recommend Bosch as a good price point and reliable. Beko have spent a fortune getting their products up to speed. Whirlpool have good tech in their new range. The dearer products like Miele are first class but they can afford to use the best components(price). Siemens are especially good in built in and the tech they have. Hoover is poorly made. Haier is generally not looked after when its sent to the UK. Hisense is unreliable but no their TV's. There are loads out there so I have just picked a few out

I've worked for Currys on the warehouse side for 11 years and I agree with this
Miele are most definitely best, "if" You can afford it!

Think I might consider beko then. Got a beko washing machine for 4 years now. Can't fault it at all. Price tends to be in the right range for me too. Not a big fan of super brands like Miele. Obviously quality will be great but personally dont think the quality/cost ratio is good enough to justify that kind of spending.
Cold. It's marked for audiovisual group. Meh
The fridge freezer back to £489 ?
